A&W is the best, with french vanilla.

I remember mixing different sodas with ice cream and I remember orange being the best. Ever tried it with actual beer? Don't.

 

Fuck yea, does A&W still make those? My dad used to make them for my brother and I when we were kids. I haven't had one in probably 15 years.

 

A&W still makes the pop, im not talking about the chain fastfood place. Homemade all the way.

We used to use a real good strawberry soda but I haven't found any of that for years. It made a really cool looking red froth that was as good as the ice cream/soda itself.

 

Can one use cream soda instead? Though most cream soda is now clear instead of pink.

I don't like rootbeer. Coke, however, makes a pretty awesome float.

 

Best one I ever had was at Friendly's. All real everything.. Much better than this shitty one I got at the mall free with an order of dollar fries. :ack2:
I like the Kutztown root beer the best, though I'll get on board with the french vanilla. There's really no reason to eat any other kind.

we have a A&W root beer stande that opens seasonally. I cant wait to go there this year. you park your car under an awning and get served at your window. the girls don't have skates though.

 

I gave my son one for the first time 3 days ago. He woulda just been happy with the soda or icecream he gets that stuff so rarely, but he loved it.

 

Root beer floats are ok. Dreamsicles are where it's at though.... In lieu of the root beer use orange soda.

 

Oh man! Dreamsicles make me cross-eyed with delight. Hard to find around here though.

 

I like the orange creamcicle pops, but I would always rather have a root beer or sasparilla float... Orange and vanilla are heavenly together, though.
