Whose writing style does your own most resemble?

I got David Foster Wallace. Theres a nifty badge you can post on a blog but I guess it doesn't work on forums.

I don't really know who he is, but after reading about him on Wikipedia I'm going to take that as a compliment.

haha nice. Thats quite a range. I keep getting David Foster Wallace. I posted a short story then just for kicks a couple of longer posts taken from ol' HF. I think its because I use the word fuck so much...Mr Wallace must be an avid fan of the f bomb as well.

I don't write like anyone; I have no standard style, for better or worse.

    But let's see:
Stephen King (ew), Neil Gaiman (omfg, I love me), Dan Brown, David Foster Wallace, Arthur Clarke, William Gibson

    Test:
Lewis Carrol write like Lewis Carrol

General Ulysses S Awesome writes like Raymond Chandler

Neil Gaiman is a force of nature, his writing goes into your dreams to live, people will quote him without ever reading him.

    It's so creepy awesome!

Its funny you say that. A friend of mine keeps a notebook with her favorite Gaiman quotes. When I was reading over them I got the strangest feeling that I had read them all before even though I've never read Gaiman.

I once wrote a song influenced by Neverwhere even though I've never read the book. I just like the title.

Get out of my head, Neil Gaiman.

So one of my works got Anne Rice, which I found strange. I've read Interview With a Vampire, and didn't really see the comparison. Another one of my works got Chuck Palahniuk, which was also a bit of a shock, but a good shock I suppose. I mean, who doesn't like Fight Club?

I really dislike the book. But the movie was awesome.

It's still a compliment though, he's had some stinkers, but he has some great ones (Rant, Survivor, Choke, Invisible Monsters)

I didn't get the comparison to the writers I got at all.
    I wanna see your poem!

    Dashes are cool.

My one professor hated how much I love the semi-colon. Fuck her though, she thought 'though' was a slang term.
