Hey! Im looking for Aucklanders who want to help me set up a website showcasing street art around Auckland. The reason being that its too big an area for one person and I may need help with the technology. The idea is based on or will be a part of Why Are You Reading This? A website which does the same thing but for Wellington. The idea is to go out and take photos of art on walls, trains etc and upload the photos onto the website. It gives the artist an opportunity to be credited for their work if they see it, and is a really good way of putting street art out there in the spotlight. Ive contacted the author of that website about an Auckland faction but even if he says no, there are no similar web sites for Auckland and I think setting one up would be a good idea.
