backpacking,couch-surfing ,volunteering...this summer?

Anyone thinking of traveling this summer somewhere in Europe (doesn't matter where) using some of the "alternative" ways of traveling...hitchhiking & backpacking,couch-surfing or doing some volunteer work?..in other words nothing too expensive

 

Oo, pick me, pick, me. That's my life and I happen to be in Europe at the moment. lol

 

Where in Europe are you? And where are you planning to go next?

 

The south west of England at the moment. I've been wanting to check out the rainbow gathering this summer in Spain (or somewhere around there), and see what the continent has to offer as far an intentional communities, communities that don't make me want to scream, beaches, etc.

 

i initially read this as backpacking with smurfs

so i'm a touch disappointed.

Have you thought about doing some volunteer work? Cause i am...well,kinda broke

P.S. backpacking with smurfs would suck dude,they are too tiny.
