Church of the Good Earth 1963 and Beyond

It'll still be a few weeks before they spring mefrom this rehab joint, but it's giving me time to think. I'm still stunned this all came togeather like it did , but as I pointed out to Mouseman whenhe and Heather stoppby for a couple of days the important lesson here is that even after all these decades. trials.tribs. etc the family still lives and is capable of doing most anything we feel a need to. Had a nice visit with Mousemsn and Heatheras they passed through headin' home. I'm still stunned and amazed by all that's happened. The thing that Mouseman and I are even more impressed by than my own survival thanks to the gathering of the tribe is that after all these decades, trials, tribulations etc, is that the family not only still lives but does so with a love stronger than ever. ,lOVE yA'LL, Ranger

 

I was on the bus once and I looked over Kelly was sitting right next to me . He had a way of making himself invisable. Apple and Kelly always with their heads in the lard bucket Jimmy had for them. Wish I could find Jimmy. Kelly used to bring home different hats all the time ,once he had one full of jelly.
Underhouse memories maybe it was rough for some, but I had a great time there w/ great memories. Thanks for the rum cake reminder. I'll have to bring one on Labor Day. Breezes dog Mugsy was fun too. The electric meter non-existent or covered with cement. Other things billed to Kelly Setter or Kitty Appleton. Making a phone call was just a roach clip away out the window.

We went to see our good friends the "Intergalactic Yurt Band" Sat . I wanted to be lifted up with them in the rapture. They said they had they're yurt on the roof! They are a great group and excellent musicians. Paul sang "Wagon Wheel" with them. Left coasters, ever hear of "The Evangenitals"? They are a lot like the Old Crow Medicine show .

Lynn (hubilicious) is getting better everyday, he knows he has to or I'll make him go into the dreaded hospital lol.

We havent been able to locate Jimmy or Whitty, someone said was was last seen in Phoenix arround 76 maybe. I talked to Whitney and he is listed in the book, Santa Rosa Cali.

No Rent, No utilities, free phone.. yeppers. We are gonna have to write a Big Book on good earth commune. There's a guy named David Talbot that is writing a book about the Haight and they are adding Good Earth in it. Mouseman talked to the guy, he may have more info on the book.

It will be so cool to tell the tall tails of what we experienced and all the adventures we had.. wow, if we did write a book we would have to call it fiction bc no one would believe half the shit we did

I remember jimmy got his likin stick out after some dude was giving someone trouble at the underhouse. Many of us were out side waiting to go to court sitting on the stoops, out comes jimmy stark naked with his stick fighting the guy off! He did! the guy left.
