The cops are out of control in America and the government does nothing, we the people need to go to the UN about this seriously https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbFsZNcBeug&feature=related"]YouTube - Police Brutality: Cops Plant Drugs On Suspect, Lets Dog Attack‏
The UN can threaten to put sanctions on US trade agreements. The only way you can get to the guys that can pull strings and put an end to all this crap that's going on in this country with the police is by giving them a rude awakening, because to them the only thing that talks is money, and when they are getting threats from the UN that might put their precious trade agreements in jeopardy they'll start doing something to address this problem in America.
The United Nations is an international organization whose stated aims are facilitating cooperation in international law, international security, economic development, social progress, human rights, and achievement of world peace. Therefore it does NOT have the ablity to impose trade sanctions. For trade sactions to be imposed on any nation, another member nation must put forth a motion before the general assembly. What you can do is you can lodge a complaint with the United Nations commision on human rights. But they're going to want documentation on the specifics and testimony. And that is if they should choose to hear your complaint. But as for trade sanctions, There not likely to happen, unless it's a security issue concerning at least one other member of the international community.
The people need to step in fight the police, they are out numbered. This video is good example. Except most americans are overweight and cowards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYmy0zr3WL8&feature=related"]YouTube - Police Punch Fan During Game, Fans Retaliate‏
yep....thats exactly what america needs... lets turn the whole US into what L.A. was right after the Rodney King verdict
If you see some bullshit that is from corrupt over the law ego acting cops i think citizens should step in. Its their country too and we shouldnt live in fear from these people, because i think a lot do.
Personally I understand what you're saying, on the other hand this government has made a lot of enemies around the world that would love the opportunity to stick it to our leaders, but we as a people need to reach out to other nations and tell them what's going on in this country. The leaders of this country loves to oppose their opinions on the world civil rights of others yet totally ignores their own violations acting like it doesn't even exist to the worlds stage.. The internet and you tube shows you the truth under their deceit.
Exactly! The fact that they have gotten away with this shit in the past makes my skin crawl...especially knowing that the people who ARE doing wrong aren't getting caught. Like BBAD said tho, we don't need violence, just a swift kick in the moral ass for these so called "peace-keepers"
Sorry to interrupt but I have notice in most cases that the police who did the crime are sent on leave with pay then internal affairs makes a statement that they are investigating, then the police department tells the public that they can not comment because there is an on going investigation. The story dies down and no news reports give any updates, then finally a year later the cop is acquitted and back on the force with only a clipping in an article. This needs to stop
I didn't post the video to show violence, just most of the examples found online usually do involve some sort harm. Not too surprising given the majority of the situations.
The US as a permanent member of the security council also has veto power over all resolutions. You'd be asking countries with horrible police records of their own like the UK and China to impose sanctions against the largest economy in the world on the basis of violent police actions. The UN isn't our hope. Agreed though, that's bullshit.
I say fuck that guy anyways....he BEAT HIS EX WIFE and the other one totally interupted that soccer game or whatever it was
There may indeed be truth on the net. I won't dispute that. However, the Internet and Tube sites are considered a joke in the halls of must governments. For example, Youtube has played the "community standards" card many times. A good example is a video called "puppy toss." (An american soldier threw a puppy in Irak) That video was erased several times due to being "flagged" by the "community." But Youtube's communities are seldom natural forming. Several legal cases were brought against Youtube and Google to reinstate Puppy Toss. It was shown that the search algorithms didn't favor the creation of natural communities. But instead attracted exisiting communities. Therefore, terms like "american soldier irak" would attract patriots, former military, christian right-wingers, etc. And people like that won't permit this type of video to stay online. The end result is that Youtube no longer really tries to defend it's content distribution with claims of "community standards" in court. But instead uses its right as a private site to publish or censor anything it wants. IE. It's their site and they will do whatever they want with it and no one is forcing anyone to visit them. These sites are not claiming to be sources of news. So there is no metric of industry creduality they need to adhear. Also they're non-governmental, so there is no accepted redress between the people and them. Therefore as long as sites like Youtube and Google obey laws. ie: Copyright, child porn, etc. There is nothing that can be done to insure the integrity and neutrality of what is published. Now you put yourself in the hands of a judge or a politician. How much credence are you prepared to give to a bunch of Youtube videos or a social networking revolution? The answer is little or none.
Yeah, I caught that too...give the guy paid fucking leave. Maybe I should figure out a way to screw the system so I can get a paid vacation for fucking up someones life. BBAD--didn't see that was the reason he was being arrested in the first place. I'm solely commenting on the police's actions here.
