i have a big problem doing homework. my college professor gives a major speech each week which requires many hours of work and i feel like my mind is burned and cant get myself to do anymore research. are there any foods or vitamins that can help me get in to the work?
Do you smoke or drink? Meditation, yoga, and things like deep breathing help improve focus and concentration. You could even play a fast action video game to improve focus.
There are some herbal infusions that are meant to help concentration. I got one from my local health food store and took it during my exams. It helped a bit. Also make sure you are eating well. And if you are in a really long lecture keep some snacks on hand to keep your blood sugar levels up!
concentration is a discipline. Forcing yourself to concentrate on the task at hand will breed discipline. Other than that, theres a great little exercise I learned in a yoga book once. Light a candle in an otherwise dark room. Focus on the flame for 60 seconds, then close your eyes. You should still be able to see the flame behind your eyelids. Concentrate on the image of the flame for 60 seconds. otherwise, eat lots of fish. If you do not like fish, take a omega-3 supplement. Omega-3 fatty acids help the brain.
i take omega 3 fish oil capsules daily. it helps with my concentration and controls my erratic blood pressure at a young age. and try getting at least 7 hrs of sleep every night. ample sleep goes a long way when it comes to concentration.:afro:
