But isn't the point of posting something having it read? To me, it would make more sense to find a more active forum to post it in. The forum was closed to further activity- and while I personally do not know the reason why I can't imagine that there is no other place that would benefit from whatever topic you wish to start.

In any case I don't see that forum reopening, unfortunately. The original topic was why you couldn't post or reply there and now you know- which means your objective has been met with this discussion and therefore it has run a rather succinct course.
