I refuse to drive while drinking, but as long as I am not too high then ill drive after smoking. I think of it as a puzzle, unfortunately losing has higher consequences... But I have not lost yet :) I know my limits and know that I am fine to drive a little stoned. Obviously not as well as 100% sober. But still better then plenty of other drivers out there, high or not.

    A. Refer to the bold text. This made me laugh, hard. I wonder exactly what I can learn from a topnotchedstoner that sits in front of a computer day after day drinking four loco. I'm just saying

    B. Refer to the italic text. Hahaha why am I not suprised that you've been in more than one auto accident.

    C. Thank you for making me feel even better about myself.

    A. I haven't had ANY alcohol in over a week. Maybe even two weeks. I'm just saying.

    B. I've only been in 2-3 accidents, and I wasn't high on anything. THAT was the point of that sentence, so, again, improve your reading comprehension.

    C. Thank YOU for continuing to prove how ignorant and closed-minded you are:)

TNS seems to have fucked up his life a bit. I seem to have already fucked up mine just about as much.... Fuck up, learn, don't do it again. Everyone fucks up.

I, personally, did make it to psych class, every single time, as cutting class isn't my thing.

While placebo has little to do with what experienced smokers feel, if it DOES play into this, it only makes you a bad driver if you think you are and a good driver if you think you are.

If you're falling apart and scared shitless, you'll probably wreck. This, as opposed to it's actual intoxicating effects, is actually why you shouldn't drive if you think you're too high, in most cases, though both can play a factor.

You keep making these baseless statements, but you haven't mounted ANY sort of argument, other than acting high and mighty, and feeling special because you're a whole 24 years old, and took a psych class. Again, so did I. I expect I know considerably more about psychology and drug effects than you ever will.

Knowing your mind, body, substance, source, and all that good stuff is highly relevant to determining how fit you are to drive or participate in any other sort of activity. You can be tired, and run over small children while totally sober.

Again, "under the influence" doesn't mean anything, why don't you try driving without being under the influence of vitamin C? Why don't you try driving under the influence of piracetam? It doesn't take a genius to see that there's a lot more than one influence, and driving after smoking marijuana has nothing to do with driving after drinking alcoholm which is probably where you get the whole classic "under the influence" bullshit. Alcohol is a heavy CNS depressant, weed is a very light one. Those are about the only things they have in common.

You're just on your high horse here topnotch. Even if you would be an exception it still better not to drive under the influence of such a substance. If it makes you do better in school that's great but who cares in this case? If you're on a public road you have a responsibility to other drivers and even if you can focus better, it's also pretty clear your reflexes aren't as sharp when you're baked in a moving car compared to driving sober.

Doesn't take a genius neither to understand we're not talking about being under the influence of vitamin C so please don't go antfucking on all the kinds of influences you can be under... And who said it has to do with driving under the influence of alcohol? It both affects your senses and reflexes though.

Knowledge. Mistakes are only mistakes if you don't learn from them, but when you DO learn something from fucking up, the "mistake" can actually be quite the blessing.

I've never made a mistake because of weed though, whether driving while stoned or otherwise.

BTW.....psych classes have nothing to do with this thread:rolleyes:

I'm not on my high horse. All I've been saying throughout this entire thread is that marijuana affects everyone differently, but all you people seem to be taking from my posts is that it's alright for EVERYONE to drive while stoned, and that's not what I'm saying at all. Some people shouldn't even smoke weed, in the first place.

Like I always say, different tokes for different folks.

I'm just saying just because you can it's not a good idea to do it. Just because you haven't been in an accident while driving stoned doesn't mean you're above it AND EVEN IF YOU WOULD BE it's still stupid to drive on a road with other drivers of which you can expect but never know for sure in what situation they might put you in.
I'm not saying this because I don't think you can drive properly after you toked up because I know other peeps who can drive stoned in this country with quite a bit of traffic so it's not impossible at all, I'm saying this because your senses aren't 100% alert at all and you're not alone on the fucking road.

Ehh look at that logic.... Trying to use the facts to imply that it's safe to inject intravenous marijuana while driving.

...And furthermore susan, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn that TNS habitually smokes marijuana cigarettes....... Reefers!

Cute, but either have a dictionary handy or don't use words you don't know.

    This is a minion:

But your sucking at english, and the fact that the drug forums are created by the presence of many such as me, as opposed to the reverse both aside, you're just throwing more baseless insults without any sort of ANYTHING to back them up. You obviously suck at psycho-pharmacology and psychology, but you don't give up, you try to support your point by just trying to demean me.

You can look down from as high a horse as you please. It doesn't mean that anything you're saying up there means anything.

Ok, I´m getting kind of bored of..

¨Marijuana makes me focus and I drive fine when I´m on it¨

¨Oh yeah? Well I took a psych class one time, and I´m 4 years older than you and therefore much smarter and more mature. so suck it!¨

    ¨You´re kind of ignorant¨

    Well you´re a MINION!

So.. I've decided to bring something new to the table and actually post some information.
    http://www.druglibrary.org/schaffer/misc/driving/dot78_1d.htm

So.. while marijuana may cause your driving skills to be lowered a little, it is a very little. I read somewhere that driving high creates the equivalent amount of distraction as driving with 2 passengers does. I don't remember where I read that, but it seems about right to me.

Though I'm 18, and probably the youngest poster in this thread.. So I should probably just be ignored. After all, I'm surrounded by 24 year old genius´ who have taken psych classes and are pioneering new ways to use the word minion.. and I´m just a ignorant teenage stoner.
