See, now you fall into his trap...

The link you provided, isn't to a WHO sponsored study and neither are the studies that they talk about. So of course, he will claim that isn't the one he meant.

It makes zero sense to argue about the sources, when he refuses to link the sources. It's just a game of bullshit to him...

He(or she) made this account specifically to post this trollish bullshit to suck people into arguments.

Just think of it this way... how much of a coward does he/she have to be that they feel the need to make an account just for the purpose of advocating the mutilation of babies?

The study linked by The Ghost was done in 2008. Many more recent studies have been done which support strongly male circumcision - in Africa, New Zealand, and elsewhere. If you want to ignore them and continue to act as Talibans of the Penis, go ahead.

Well orison, now you are playing this bullshit?

You link to a page that says there are studies that show, blah blah fucking blah... and yet don't link to the studies...

So how about one of you bright people who think that mutilating babies is a good idea actually link to one of these mythical studies instead of constantly talking out of your ass?

Or is asking you to back up what you say with facts rather then bullshit, just too much to ask?

i google and the owl said "what" kinda interesting I wrote a song a few yrs ago. That refers to an owl saying "what"..

"What" I dont get is, if Africa is flooded with HIV, so how accurate is this study?..

if you want my real opinion.. Maybe they should spend more on finding a cure for HIV and less money chopping off skin..

It is also generlaly accepted that AIDS originated in Africa - supposedly where circumcision in most prevalent - which would tend to imply that the opposite is true.

Then there is the matter of cause & effect - chicken & egg. The primary reason for circumcision is religious fanaticism, yet a common factor in these religions is supposed to be that of sexual morality. Including such things as ritual cleansing of the penis before sex. Only having sex with your spouse. Retaining virginity until married etc.

If the rules of morality alone were to be adhered to, this would be greatly effective in the fight against AIDS. Yet despite all these rules AIDS continues to spread - moreso, it seems, in countries that promote circumcision as their standard culture than in those that do not.

'Studies' can be used to prove anything.
Studies can prove that the glass is half full.
Opposing studies can prove that the glass is half empty.

Just like the old phrase says:- "Lies, Damn Lies, And Government Statistics".

Circumcision is mutilation that serves no purpose whatsoever.

In my experience the total opposite has been the case. They always seem to like that natural sheen on the glans, and a bit extra to play with.

really you can speak for the majority of girls, i'm truly amazed! i'm sure if you live in a place where the norm is to look cut and a girls experience is of cut guys when an uncut comes along she finds it weird and the other way round.

so if the majority of the world are cut then yes you're probably right, if not then you are wrong IMO.

I'm a women. I find the whole thing messed up, especially when a baby is mutilated without consent. I watched a tv show about a group of guys on a quest to get back what they had taken from them. Some guy made a device to stretch what skin was left eventually making something that resembled foreskin.

It's natural for a man to have foreskin. Being circumcised doesn't mean you will be cleaner. Most men get along just fine with their foreskin, you just have to wash it properly, which shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Also It does make you less sensitive. You're penis has to desensitize because it has no covering to protect it.

I don't think it should be done unless required to for medial purposes.

I find it's just something that has been pushed on people and everyone wants to join in.

I come from England and I know nobody who had been circumcised. I heard everybody in America has and wants it done, and females find it gross for a man to have what he was born with!

Totally shocking. Maybe it's because people make money off that proedure. Best way to get money is to give everyone a complex, so much so that they go and cut their babies flesh! It's all a big scam.

Although they may serve different purposes, men & women have identical organs. You may hear of a Female Circumcision, which is somewhat a misnomer. This is performed in many Arabic & African countries & involves the surgical removal of the clitoris & the sewing of the labia together, so as to maintain virginity until such time as she is marriedf & the initial penetration by her husband's penis tears the whole thing apart, in what must be unbelieveable agony.

The true equivalent in women would be to remove the clitoral hood, as the clitoris is the equivalent organ to the male glans. Can you imagine having your clitoris dried up, shrivelled & thoroughly desensitised due to the lack of any natural protection?

I really like being circumcised I feel its cleaner or maybe easier is the right word but it is. My sons will be circumcised and their sons after them and so on. Aint no one got time to pull it back and clean it.

Don't get it done for the wrong reason. Do you want to have it done because your girlfriend doesn't like it? I mean it's your choice but don't do it because someone else want's you to. I Like uncut over cut any day, to me it's just sexier.

Of course, in the end it's your own choice, but remember, once done, there's no going back.

Although there may be a number of foreskin restoration methods, none of these are truly successful. The foreskin is more than simply skin - it secretes a waxy substance which keeps the glans moist & sensitive.

Although I am totally opposed to any form of mutilation of infants, when it comes to adults, that's fair enough - their choice. A baby has no such choice.
