aiden is turning one year old in two weeks and i am trying to figure out a couple activities that him and a couple other babies, around his age, could do. we are going to have his party at a park and there will be water spigots, playground equipment and an open field. I was thinking of buying a couple of those large bouncy balls and let the kids play with those in the field and letting them just run and explore. any one have any ideas i would love to hear them. Bubbles! Get some bubbles, the parents can blow them and the babies can chase them! You can make your own mix with dish soap and water I think. The ball idea sounds great too.
I have just read this post and I know It's been ages. So how did the party go? The daughter of a friend of mine also had the 1st birthday party of her daughter at a park just across their home. I can say that the guests really enjoyed it.(A 1st birthday party is primarily for family and friends anyway), To keep the kids busy, a free play area has been set- up complete with blocks, stacking toys, and push-pull toys. The kids were fun to watch as they played alongside with each other!
