I know I've found other peoples mugshots and arrest/conviction records before, a few years ago, on various law breaking oriented forums. (this is the only forum I really frequent anymore) I know all I needed was their name, and could search in the arresting county's website.

It seems to have all been turned into a moneymaker, now public records are technically public, the entities that legally have to maintain them as public simply make them public to a company for a fee, and the company makes them public to you for a fee.... And they're not even up to date, all the companies have a few other guys with my name a few decades off my age, a few hundred miles away, for like 30 bucks.....
