I think this is the best song off that album, and actually the only song from him I like.

Contrary to what some are saying in this thread, I prefer dub step (and all electronic in general) to be simple and repetitive, especially if the focus is on modulating drone through layers of stacks of signal processing. Then again, I'm more into the experimental / noise anyway, stuff like Black Dice, Mindflayer, Klaus Schulze, Contagious Orgasm, Government Alpha, Wizardzz, etc. Melodic electronic stuff always sounds rather lame to me, I'm all about feedback and the head buzz that comes from having your head ringing to ultra low and high frequencies.

The only dub step I listen to anymore is Cookie Monsta.

There is some dubstep that I like, but I find the genre as a whole to be uncomfortable to listen to while in altered states of mind.

goddamnit that shit sucks so bad. I can only make it to 1:39 before turning away. its like the most annoying mid-range squealing synth lines ive ever heard. It's so brostep I can imagine this being played at a frat party over a game of beerpong by a bunch of kangol hat wearing circle-jerk offs screaming "bleeeeeeargh" at eachother like troglodyte apes. DO NOT WANT :(

Dubstep is the bomb when your tripping, although watch out for what I've tentatively named the "Dub-Hole". You turn the stereo off, but Dubstep continues in your head all night! Shpongle has to be my music of choice when tripping.

You're all wrong. Drum and Bass is superior to any type of trance / 4x4 nonsense. How about some Spor?

What are all these awful things I'm reading about Dubstep?

The scene nowadays pretty much sucks. That's true, here's to hoping that will change soon, but roll back a few years and dubstep is for me like the perfect music to come up & come down to. I'd rather have some goa to peak with probably though.

Dubstep consists of two things, dub music and 2step rhytm. There's a lot of crap out there and you won't fidn anything good by typing in 'Dubstep' in Google, that's for sure, but anyway here are a few tracks I love:
