    Like the title sez...

Today is the last day of the BLAST FROM THE PAST in SEDRO WOOLLEY WA. I was there yesterday. I had a great time. Found a great parking place barely 100 feet from the northern edge there on (I think its) Metcalf Street.

There is some sort of Bicycle Tour thingamabob sponsored by S.W.A.N. I don't know about SWAN, some local outfit that does some kind of charity work for people.

Perhaps as many as 50 vendors with everything from cool Patriotic bumper stickers to jewelry to Curly Fries and burgers and dogs to art work to Massage Therapy to Kettle Korn plus their was this quartet of youngsters playing some of the sweetest BLUEGRASS MUSIC YOU EVER LAID YOUR EARS ON!!! The youngest was just 11 and the oldest was 19. Two fiddles, a banjo and guitar. I stopped and sat down to have a smoke and treat my ears and my mind to some of THE BEST Traditional OLD TYME tuneage I've had the pleasure to hear in a super long time I'm HERE TO TELL YA!!!

There is a car show too including a gorgeous old (late 50s model) PONTIAC HEARSE on display.

There is a QUILT SHOW ALSO. I already have 5 handmade quilts so I stayed away from that for the obvious reasons. Is 5 too many??? Is 5 an obsession???

There is a band playing old hippie music from the 60s and 70s. They were rocking the house pretty darn good Saturday...:D

There was a nice array of beautiful HARLEYS on display...look but DO NOT TOUCH...:D

There is probably more going on that I missed...forgive me for I am old....:D
