my first festival, im too stoked :sunny: My friend has a gram of spice and we are all planning on dropping L and blasting off right before shpongle, ott, and then hallucinogen all play in a row tomorrow night. OMFG ill be back with a trip report for sure, anyone else heading out to Arkansas?
Have a great time. Please be careful with DMT use outdoors/in public, even at festivals. Please never, ever take a hit while standing up - you'll get knocked on your ass if you get a decent rip, every time. Also, the LSDMT combo is quite something - expect a complete launch - please ensure that your body is completely safe and comfortable before preparing to abandon it. Sounds like some great music. A little disappointing, well the DMT part. I ended up dosing some mescaline the first day and saw shpongle and ott and hallucinogen along with a shitload of other awesome bands. There was SO much dmt smoke going around at shpongle and it made us decide to go back to our tents to smoke the stuff after Simon and Ott's set. We used a meth pipe thing and I probably got one LIGHT hit from it and got a really warm fuzzy feeling and laid back for a second. My friend decided the pipe was wasting the DMT and didn't want to waste anymore with it. I then found myself walking all over the campgrounds looking for psychedelics, that tiny hit was too much of a tease. I ended up finding a dude that had a ton of K but he only sold in large quantities and I was looking for personal use. He ended up giving me a free line anyway and barely made it back to the campsite before I fell to the ground and just laid there for what seemed like hours. I have never been in the K-hole before but im guessing thats what it was. I had an awesome time at Wakarusa after that as well. I indulged in some 2cb the next 2 days along with a little opium, weed, and molly. Overall it was fun, I was just really hoping to actually BLAST OFF while on other psychedelics, oh well, there's always next time. :love:
waka was sweet. did you stick around for eotos last set? they played with jamie janover and a couple guys from beats antique. it was pretty cool. jamie's set at dawn was my favorite set of the weekend.
nah i missed eoto the second time they played, beats was awesome though. I managed to see emancipator at 6 am on Saturday though, i thought that was an amazing set with the sunrise.
hell yeah! the quixotic performers were pretty cool too. they had the acrobats and the violinist. I wish the weekend had been scheduled a little better, but over all it was a pretty tight weekend!
