I really dig this guy. I don't know too much about the subgenres of electronic music, I was wondering what type of music his classified as and what other artists are similar to him?
He classifies himself as Electroacoustic / Experimental / House - on his MySpace page. There seem to be so many genres and sub-genres nowadays... I've just retreated to a few basic ones: Good [I like it], Bad [I dont like it] and ??? [I'm not sure yet]. I tend to classify my own stuff as "experimental", on the grounds that I generally dont know what I'm doing, nor have any definite aim in mind .
I'd put Pantha Du Prince under microhouse, minimal techno or just minimal. I'm not much for techno but I do enjoy some minimal artists notably John Roberts.
