I was just thinking today I wonder if the reason our government is becoming so repressive and making it so difficult for the non-wealthy to have wealth is in order to compete with China. I mean China's economy is set to overtake ours within some years I forgot if the latest I had read said 2020. And the reason is because all its citizens are process line robots with no rights that are overworked into creating wealth for the government. Our government naturally only cares about the "nation's" self-interest and keeping our economy ahead of China's is definitely a top priority so I wonder if those in government along with the corporations that fund them are trying to employ a more communist-like mentality of making workers work more but giving them less and making it harder to get a job, make more money, etc. If they make it harder to get what people want then they have to work harder and in the process give more to the state. Now I think the answer to the whole thing is if the whole system goes to shit and people suddenly want less and less. Suddenly the corporations make less, the government's strategy would fail, and China would probably stop growing so much because we'd stop fueling their growth by buying their crap. Or do you think corporations would simply give more jobs abroad and say F you to American workers who don't want them? If you think what I'm saying is utter bullshit feel free to say it lol my mind's going off somewhere else...
I'd say no on that one and more that we are a partner with china. It might not seem that to the general public though. The leaders of the both countries seem to get along fine, and nobody has a problem with us buying there garbage, and them producing it. China did a long time ago if you are thinking of who has debt and who doesn't. The American dollar is backed by nothing but debt. The employees is a different subject... They already do all of that, and have been for a long time. Communism has been a part of china for awhile, nothing new. I wish people would refuse to buy anything made in china. Its hard to boycott because so much of our products are made there. Everything from cloths, electronics, makeup and automobile parts. You just gotta start somewhere and pick. Trying is better than doing nothing, start by never shopping at walmart again. The American people were sold out long ago. Its amazing to me how bad its become in the last 30 years. More and more corporations are going over seas and saying fuck the people, ima get a bigger paycheck. Why would you pay an American $8.50 and hour when you could do the same at 10cents an hour?
