I have taken emergency contraception a few times. Every time I take it, I get my period a day or two after, even if I just got over my period. I took it on sunday night and monday (8 pills taken in 12 hours). I didn't get my period. So now I'm stressing over why I didn't get my period after getting my period after all of the other times of using emergency contraceptive pills. How come I didn't get my period this time? Am I alright?
I'm sure you'll be fine. The only time you're actually supposed to get a period is around the time you normally would (can be a couple days early or late). I wouldn't concern yourself too much over this (if you took it within 72 hours) the probability of you be pregnant is low (but still possible). Either way nothing good will come from stressing yourself out about it.
no silly, pomegranates.. http://www.sisterzeus.com/pomegranate.htm http://www.naturalnews.com/023145_pomegranate_cancer_juice.html
again, the chick that is obsessed with the pill and pregnancy... Based on your other posts on the matter, I take it you are just starting the pill this month or within the last month or 2? You could skip a period when you first start it because your body is trying to adjust to the hormone intake... However, if you are smart, you know to use condoms and such during the first month because of pregnancy. I feel like a broken record when I say that if you can't handle a pregnancy, don't have sex
Emergency contraception is just what it describes, to be used in an emergency. Repeated use tells me you're abusing it and not using other forms of contraception when you should be. Invest in condoms, they'll help you out a lot. Also, get a copy of and read Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It explains a lot and I think it should be mandatory reading for all women.
