ohio seems so much chiller to live in than california. the culture and people there seem way more chill. I visit the akron area sometimes cus I have family there.

 

we don't have as much money and aren't as pretty, so there's less to worry about.

 

I have considered moving to ohio. california is pretty ghetto man and full of plenty of ugly people too haha.

I think one reason I do not like it here so much is because sometimes it feels like I am living in a foreign country. I am not racist and have mexican friends and like mexican women but there are plenty of areas around here where I am the minority being a white guy.

plus the street culture around here is a lot different than ohio. kind of hard to explain online but ohio has a lot more laid back chill kind of people compared to socal where the biggest culture is the gang culture.

the only nice areas in southern california are the beach communities or super expensive gated communities hidden in some hills or something like that. the rest is ghetto trash areas full of mexican gangs and tweekers and meth labs and helicopters flying around every night with a spotlight and crap like that.

plus there is a huge movement of racist hispanics. they claim california belongs to mexico and us white motherfuckers took it from them. and since I am the minority in a lot of places I get lots of hate from them. but again I have mexican friends and there are plenty of good mexicans out there. but the racist mexican movement is quite large and even in high school there were plenty of mexicans who view themselves better than whites and travel in packs around school and cause problems.

ohio from when I visted is like a community culture where everyone helps each other out while california is like a dog eat dog culture where everyone is trying to best each other.

 

best times Ive had at concerts, in my lifetime were in OHIO.. And Ive seen the Dead in just about all 50 states.. and a few altered states too..

 

people are generally pretty tolerant of each other here. Our crime is generally drug deals gone bad, drunken crazies gone mad, rape or molestation. there's a lot of fucked up people around here, but they don't really have an agenda, and certainly aren't in any REAL gangs.
