So I've been wondering has anyone ever slept during a Lsd peak? People might say you can't sleep, but what if you're extremily tired, take it and before effects kick in you go to bed and sleep.. anyone know anyone who tried such a thing?
Not sure as i awoke still high and during this session normal sleep was impossible so this was a 3 or 4 hour rest.
My friend once took half a shiva and went right to bed, he didn't wake up, but said he had crazy dreams.
Sounds interesting, I mean no one really knows the result from what I can see, like I wouldn't like to "waste" a trip to dream and whenever I wake up not recall this dream, that would be fucked up.. also I believe that on dream state the chance of someone 'unlocking' some hidden problem is much bigger than awake because basically on dream state you interact only with your mind.. But yes, I'll sure note this as "Thing to do in the future". Perhaps Lucid Dreaming on LSD must be intense and cool, lol.
Don't know if there is any truth to this, but I heard somewhere that Jon Fishman from Phish had a stint in college where he regularly set his alarm, dosed, went back to sleep, and woke up for his day--rejuvenated to say the least.

Its really weird is if you take the acid and fall asleep and then wake up tripping balls. It can really disorient you.
i fell asleep about 6 hours after i dropped one time.... had a flashback/panic attack :sad: damn salvia...
I sometimes get really lethargic but never have fallen asleep. I did fall asleep after taking Miprocin once and woke up seemingly sober but really angry for no reason. I threw a fit then it hit me like a freight train that I was tripping balls and everything was cool.
I feel like I wouldn't want to risk trippin while sleeping. I feel that even if we were to have super intense dreams / trips, we may or may not remember them, similar to how we don't always remember the dreams we have upon entering REM cycles. On that note, I wonder what ol' Lucy would do to a REM cycle. Hmmmm... ;
I've always wondered that, too. Eat a dot right before you go to bed, assuming you can fall asleep in twenty minutes [I suck at sleeping] or so, and see what happens. It's an interesting thought.
It happened a few times that I fell asleep at the ending of a trip before getting sober again or after hiding under the blankets (like once when I started to have a badtrip I had this reflex, it was a bit like when you're a kid, afraid at night and hide under the comforters as if it was a shield ahah!). My dreams were über strange, I can't recall much of it though but remember asking myself if these were "normal".
I have fallen asleep a couple times on lower doses, but it was extremely difficult and I cannot do it every time I try. This isn't due to my racing thoughts or CEV's though. It is due to the fact that I simply can't get comfortable for longer than a few minutes of laying there. This is because of the effects LSD has on your blood vessels. I can't find a way to lay without putting pressure on an arm or something and cutting circulation or just making circulation more difficult (I am never able to sleep on my back for some reason). When this happens I notice the inside of my veins/arteries kind of inflamed or itchy and this causes me to roll over. Sleeping on my stomach is't an option because the strain on my neck having my head turned to one side to breathe. I presume the only option really is a massage table or something with the face hole. If anyone has a good position or pillow formation or something to avoid this let me know. Also I don't smoke, but I notice people who smoke a fair bit of weed during the trip are able to sleep much better.
I don't know about acid, but I did fall asleep during a mushroom trip once. I was the only one in the room tripping and I got tired of laying on the couch giggling to myself so I just went to sleep. Nothing profound happened or anything. I don't remember what I dreamed about. I woke up mildly confused as to how I managed to fall asleep while still tripping my ass off, but other than that it was just a normal night's sleep.
