I just watched Zodiac. Good film, but instead of filming the ending where they catch the killer they skipped it out altogether and just wrote it. That is just being lazy IMO Plus I couldn't make out the writing because my TV was too far away so I don't even know if they did actually catch the killer or not. I'm now going to have to wikipedia the ending. Like if I wanted to read about a story I'll buy a book! Very poor.

It's usually additional information that wouldn't film well. Like how all their lives ended up at the end of Apollo 13
