I Want Dreadlocks When I Get Out Of Army.

So, I've wanted locks for years. Joined the Army and couldn't because it's against policy. I think I'm gonna start on them when I get out (4 more years).

My question is : Is it acceptable for white people to have dreads?

I've asked that a lot and many say yes but some say no.

What do you guys say?

 

aren't dreads just hair? Anyone with enough hair for it to get tangled could have dreads

Just kidding, it's your hair you do what you want with it. Dreads have only been associated with Rastafari since it began in the late 1920's many cultures Seiks, Jews, Celts etc had them way before the Rasta's many religions do it as a shun against vanity. But yeah it's totally acceptable
