    Hi all!
Italy is living a very difficult period up to now. I am very afraid because I'm Italian, i'm 15 and I don't know how life is going to change here.
Silvio Berlusconi is an awful man! He goes with prostitutes using public money... he censures tv programs and newspapers and he is in contact with mafia!
But the worst thing is that this isn't only an opinion of mine, EVERYBODY knows wath he does but NOBODY does anything! We are the standing joke of europe!
The school minister Mariastella Gelmini is doing several cuts to the funds destinated to school and a lot of school don't have any money! We are swimming in a sea of shit!
Italian students do demonstrations and strikes but nobody listen to us!
    ITALY IS STINKING.

What do u think about it?

Berlusconi will seriously sleep with anything that has a vagina. He's like 77 yet gets supermodels, what the hell. At least Sarkozy married his supermodel.

The real question is can Italy ever have a government that actually finishes out its 4 year term.

italy has always been a sad place, starting with the roman empire which was humanity's biggest mistake. also because they grafitti all their trains and don't do it very prettily either.

the america i live in has never been the free country it has always pretended to be, as long as it has been a country.

part of this is the way of nations generally for the past several centuries. it is due to cultural values that have come to dominate. romantacising aggressiveness and trying to make everything have to begin and end with money, whether it needs to or not, are the two biggest parts of it.

don't feel too bad about your own country. nearly all of them are plagued by this to some degree or another. and i don't think its always going to be that way.

what matters isn't what stands or falls calls itself, but what its replaced by or evolves into.

You chat some shite, dontcha sunshine?

Anyway, if Italy can produce a novelist of the calibre of Nicolo Amananti it can't be wholly fucked.

"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock." - the third man

Blokes aren't even allowed to piss standing up after 9 pm in Switzerland.

There's an estate (project, if you're American) called Le Vele (which means "The Sails" (coz the blocks look like sails) in Scampia, Napoli - It looks top, though I have to admit I kinda do wank over deck access municipal housing estates coz, for me they represent a lot of things (too many to go into now, but not least opportunities gone to waste that'll never be afforded to us again).

Ah now c'mon, how long has it been since the states had an open door immigration policy? I'm glad you recognise the idea of the USA as a failed state, but to blame that on immigration? No, you septics ruined your country all by yourselves, and such a beautiful & potentially wonderful country as well. It'd take a special set of idoits, the veriatable creme de la creme of the stupid to fuck that up. And yet fuck it up youse did.

It's not just your country! The UK is becoming (become?)a police state, security cameras everywhere, an impotent government, antiquated political systems, undemocratic rule. It is not as bad as some places, admittedly, but as a 'forward looking', progressive nation, we are remarkably repressed and stifled. At least your PM nails hot chicks on the regular!

Bedouin was liveing in a small house with lots of family members. His life has become unbearable. He went to seek advice from the wiseman. The wiseman told him:
-Lead a camel in house .
    Life has become worse.
Again he asked for advice from the wise. The wiseman advised him:
    - Bring a camel out of the house
Bedouin life has become much, much easier.
Come to Serbia. When you return to Italy, contact us to see the situation.

You nailed it right on the spot, I'd just add that if after 20 years we still didnt get rid of that scumbag and his henchmen , it's time to admit it's all our fault. there is still a lot of people round admiring his filthy ways and envying his most vulgar display of power. this kind of people obviously has no moral feelings, just like berlusconi, who is probably a psychopath. everything comes to an end eventually... only it cannot be an honorable way, at this point.

Im sorry but i must contradict you. you simply dont know what you are talking about. that man is pure radioactive shit, he is Circe, he turns men ino pigs, and the opposite of king Midas, he turns things into shit by contact. in his ways he acts just like someone who wants to emulate the devil , he is the emperor and god of liars, pimps and thieves and ruined Italy for good. he must die of a slow, most painful death, his body thrown in a pig pen.

the damage our german corrupt politicians are doing to the country is enormous: dumbing down people and corrupting everything, installing a police state,...
