I never had to take the test in hs, but I did spend 3 out of the 4 years at a private school. With that said, my bf who has been in the AF for the last 15 years also took his test at school. Fact. Once again, calibound is spouting shit.
As I said, a portion of the test is offered in HS. Not the full 3 hour test. You join the Military and then you can tell me something about it. As of now, you don't know jack shit
well yeah, but as the next poster says, its on par with a bigger town compared to most cities. I was being kinda sarcastic, I think you would have a lot of fun.
for fuck's sake, if you wiki asvab, the very first thing they say is that it is offered to hs students.
Pretty sure he took the whole damn thing during his sophmore year at his high school. You're proving my point over and over again. Thanks for the laughs. Let me guess, you came in as an MP or a cook? Bwahaha
You're right. It sure does. Easily, I know a dozen people who have taken the asvab during hs, if for nothing more than to get out of class for a couple hours.
LOL I LOVE it that you're bragging that you scored high enough to be a medic in the army. LOVE it. A medic in the army. I'm assuming all your intelligence was not needed. Edit to add: In case anybody is wondering, Knoxville is still being tossed around a bit but so is Minnesota and Wisconsin. Just when I thought I was done with long hard winters...
You guys are so fucking stupid. There's 2 versions of the test. A sample test given in HS that takes approximately 1 hour. And the real test. The HS version is called by the Military "Form 18/19".
I took it my Junior year at MEPS. When I enlisted at age 17. Nope, I had a 89D (EOD) slot (One of the most difficult to get). Realized that I'd rather help the wounded instead of deciding which wire to cut :2thumbsup:
personal attacks are generally not taken lightly here, so i'll refrain from joining in the name calling. since you're clearly too smart to read the relevant portions of any posts, i'll repeat it for the 5634th time: WE TOOK A NINE SECTION, HALF DAY TEST. NOT A ONE HOUR SAMPLE. IT WAS A FULL NINE SECTIONS, AND IT TOOK THE ENTIRE FIRST HALF OF THE DAY. WE DID NOT GO INTO A ROOM, ANSWER 3 QUESTIONS, AND LEAVE. WE SPENT HALF OF THE DAY TAKING NINE SEPARATE TESTS. WHAT WE DID SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE WHAT THE OFFICIAL ASVAB SITE SAYS IN DESCRIPTION OF THE FULL ASVAB.
since i've done a bit of research, i found that there are in fact two versions: the pencil and paper one and the computerized version. there are also two different scores. i have found no evidence of a short version though, and there is extensive evidence that HS students take a test exactly like the "real test" that you describe.
.....It isn't 9 separate test.........9 separate test? Took half the day? That sounds exactly like the year end finals.
This is military.coms explanation of the HS version...... "The CAT takes about an hour and a half. The exam covers almost the same sub-tests as the MET-site ASVAB, except the CAT has 10 sub-tests because it divides the Auto Shop subtest into 2 subtests – Auto Information and Shop Information."
You're the fucking idiot. Everything you say contrdicts logic. Get out of my thread, you waste of space piece of shit that can't bother a google search to cover up your basisless claims.
