Anyone here play Rift?

It is a new MMORPG. Really fun game. Beats WoW for sure. I played WoW for about 6 years, started playing Rift and don't think i'll ever go back. I was never a hardcore player, didn't have the time but I hate how WoW made the game play completely lazy. You just basically stand in a city waiting in raid, dungeon, pvp queues. Took all the adventure and fun out of the game.

Rift is running a free trial right now if anyone is interested. They brought back that sense of adventure without it turning out to be a grindfest like Aion did, which was really unfortunate. It really is the most perfectly balanced MMORPG so far.

So, are you saying it is more of a PvE then PvP?

 

both it has a little bit for everyone.I enjoy pvp and pve in rift.And the fact that you can almost custom your own spec.http://www.riftgame.com/en/classes/

No, It's a good balance. It isn't all PVP like Warhammer. I haven't even ever played the PVP because that's not really my thing.

 

Yeah thats my thing too... I don't like pvp.

Well... at least not in a roleplaying situation... lol

i tried getting it, but i don't think it works on a mac

 

So far.. So good.. just got done playin for the last 5 hrs... Mage(el/pyro/storm) Defiant.. find me.. Dixiewrect

 

^^^ Will look you up. Mage was my first class too but I switched to Assassin (Ranger/Marksman). I love being ranged DPS and having a pet. ^_^ Necromancer let's you have skele minions. I went that, Stormcaller, and Chloro.
