First day of summer!

chhh is actually 'll'

but yes, it's that rubbish stereotype that we spit over people when we talk. because of the pronunciation of welsh words.

Hang on... today's the first day of Summer ?

But the 24th is Midsummer Day.

That means the last day of Summer will be next Monday, the 27th.

I know the government are cutting everything, but this is a little extreme. Why aren't people out in the streets, rioting ?

One of the best fresh foods in the summer is watermelon.

 

I think today was actually one of the coolest days since school let out. It's been between 97 and 108 degrees since Memorial Day.

 

Going to a week long farm party, I was out there yesterday for a few hours...:-D

Doesn't feel like summer here...its actually been rather depressing lately.

 

So far it’s been a good summer working, playing b-ball, day hiking the northern terminus of the appalachian trail - good stuff

I live in tropical Queensland! it's a little bit inland from the coast tho so can get down to single digits in the winter... guess it's all what you're used to

It's been fucking gorgeous here the past few days, but that's the rain back. Still it's more settled than before, no persistent wind. I think we are in for some thunderstorms in the next few days.

Been out cycling loads as well, I think I dropped a notch on my belt. I'm on the red wine tonight, I am planning to get ripped by the end of July. I've given my beer belly 1 months notice to vacate the premises.
