My friend just showed me The Union yesterday morning, and it was so awesome that I watched it again last night. It tells all the truth about weed and how its not at all bad. If you have not seen it, you need to go watch it. It's on Instant Netflix for any of you who have it. I just want every person in the world to watch it, then tell me you still think weed is bad.
Awesome movie, huh? They did an excellent job highlighting the negative impact of criminalizing hemp/ marijuana production in regards to both the economic and environmental impact to our society. Personally, I have never gotten any real benefits from smoking pot but I don't think it should be illegal. I always like to add that last statement because I think alot of people look at me, saying well you want it to be legal because you smoke and I am like, actually, no I don't and I don't get any real enjoyment from it the handful of times I have tried it. The fact is, from a purely environmental and economic standpoint, it makes sense to legalize it. Take the money we are funneling into the war against "pot" and funnel it into education. Off soap box .... now.
I love that movie! I am going to show it to my obnoxiously straight edge friend, i dont know how or when but i will.
