These bags have an incredible environmental story and we can thank Tom Schaeppi, owner of Relan bags for that.

Tom found out a couple of years ago that there's 600,000 tons of billboards produced yearly in the United States which is an amazing amount. It's all made out of PVC and most of it is going down into the ground. Relan looked at it and thought they can make some incredibly cool product; get it back to the consumer, get it back to the corporation. That's what they're doing: trying to save all those tonnage and repurposing it.

So these are old advertisements, old billboards from every highway you go by and also from banners and from museums, and banners from just sales and events. Relan work with a lot of those museums: the Smithsonian, the Getty, San Francisco Fine Arts. They also work with companies like Miller Coors. That cooler came from a Coors billboard.

Relan got coolers, bags, pocket book. They also got iPad cases which is somewhat unique because they also put the label of the billboard it came from. That bag came from a Lexus billboard. This iPad came from that billboard.

This is so fun. How can people get a hold of this?

Relan will be having an online store soon. They're working with a company directly up to this point but for the most part, the consumer loves this part too, so in two or three weeks they'll have an online store.

Well keep your minds on Relan bags; find them on the web. How cute is this to be a Verizon billboard! You need this for your iPad.
