In Codmouse's defense, and in my opinion, hair is indeed sexy as hell in a very primal, masculine way.

Regarding a bush... Trimmed is nice but sometimes I forget to do that and sometimes I forget to shave my legs too....so I don't want a guy that focuses more on grooming than I do. It wouldn't really bother me.

 

Ummm I think men trimming their pubes is totally UNsexy, so I would be releived that it wasn't all trimmed

i'd have to just ignore it. It wouldn't COMPLETELY turn me off. It's like when someone farts during sex... unsettling and gross but I can get past it.

 

It's funny how society has changed. It's almost an emasculation. The advertising industry and the entertainment industry has almost made having any body hair unsightly.

I was with a girl 10 years ago and her younger siblings (13 and 16) laughed at me because I "had chest hair like Austin Powers". I remember the late 70's and early 80's you'd look at the covers of teen magazines and see pictures of Barry Gibb with his shirt open and a hairy chest and that was a sign of virility. Now teen magazines are covered with images of Justin Beiber or The Jonas Brothers who look like little girls that will never grow any body hair.

When was the last time you saw a man with a beard in a movie that wasn't a bad guy? It seems like now there is kind of a Ron Jeremy archetype in our entertainment. If you want a character to be considered dirty or gross then along comes the cliche of fat, sweaty and HAIRY. Or if you see bikers on TV they are usually big hairy dangerous dudes. What kind of message are we sending our kids.

Anyway, I'm kind of rambling and probably only making sense to myself right now.
