I am to get married in a couple of days and in my speech I'm thinking of mentioning a very funny dream my future wife had. I would appreciate any interpretations. She dreamed our kid (2-3 years at the time) was a loaf of bread. Her grand parents where visiting in the dream. In the dream she was terrified when she discovered that they have got hungry and made a sandwich out of our kid and was eating him. Brutal, weird and funny dream ... any guesses on interpretation?
I could not really relate bread as a symbol to anything I heard before so I looked it up (just internet search of various sites), found a multitude of meanings depending on who you are, but I disagree to all I found (go look for yourself). I think this is about disagreement in how your kid is to be raised as the bread would be a product of ingredients and the baking process just like an adult is a product of his/her parents and upbringing. You may secretly feel that the grandparents (yours or her parents ?) are having too much influence on the upbringing by imposing their values instead of yours. Edit: BTW, don't mention this in your speech.
Yeah, I agree with Ratio's interpretation. It's not as funny once it's interpreted! lol. Just don't give an interpretation in the speech. Still a cute idea.
