Ok, so I'm new to tripping, but I took shrooms once. It was 3 grams and i saw patterns and bright colors but no hallucinations so I was dissapointed.

Basically, I want to have strong hallucinations like seeing an animal appear next to me or something but I don't want to go for DMT until i experience hallucinations first. Is it possible to hallucinate objects on shrooms? What's the best drug I can take to cause alot of hallucinations? I heard acid does but a friend told me acid isn't about the hallucinations, so I'm looking for something thats all about the hallucinations. Any advice?

Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it.

O yea, and I'm trying to avoid the following drugs (because my parents test me for them after finding my bud) coc thc opi amp bzo.

Classical psychedelics won't produce (at normal doses) visuals of things that don't exist. However, having an object 'look' like another, more bizarre, similarly shaped object can happen. So, with LSD, Mescaline, the 2C-x drugs, etc., you won't see 'crazy hallucinations' like what I THINK you are eluding to. Dissociatives may induce such states however. Look into Dextromethorphan and Ketamine. However, both can interact with medications you may be on, as well as cause serious psychological alterations you may not be prepared for.

You say no DMT, but, actually, it might be right up your alley!

Your ideas about how psychedelics and hallucinations are linked are totally incorrect, you will find this out yourself if you ever take one. There is no psychedelic in the world that is going to make you hallucinate an animal WITHOUT drastically altering your consciousness. Actually, there is no psychedelic in the world that is likely to make you hallucinate an animal out of thin air. For those kinds of effects you want a delirient like Diphenhydramine, but those are severely intoxicating and make you go quite crazy. Classical psychedelics like LSD are actually first and foremost about the head trip, and the visual effects only come in higher doses usually.

That being said, you should seek out 2C-B and 4-HO-MET, those are two HIGHLY visual psychedelics with *relatively* minor thought changes (you will still be tripping balls).

If you're looking for strong hallucinations I would try Salvia Divinorum. People think it's kind of crap because it's still legal in some places but it's very, very strong. I've never tried it personally, mostly because I'm a little nervous about it. The trips are very short and very unpredictable. Sometimes you get nothing, sometimes a lot. The last time I went to try it, my boyfriend went first and an angry god ripped the world apart and tried to kill him. So if you're looking for a STRONG trip ask around for the Salvia woman.

The only really true hallucinogen I've heard of in that it causes you to see and experience things that are not real is Datura. It is classified as delirient and not a psychedelic. But be warned it can be fatal, can last for up to 36 hours, causes major vision problems that can last for over a week, and basically is about the furthest you can get from a pleasant psychedelic experience. It is more like a roller coaster ride through your own personal hell.

I personally would highly, highly recommend dmt over any dissociative trip. Start small and work your way up if you are unsure but imo it is a much more comfortable experience than what I like to call the "drunken trips" like ket and dxm. Though like any psychedelic the largest degree of whether or not your gonna enjoy the end result is whether or not you have the right state of mind to be taking it in the first place. In my experience though, people lose control and defeat themselves and freak out more often on dissociative/delirious trips. though this is the type thats gonna make you most often "see an animal appear", be careful not to just assume that such a quality will make a trip good because sometimes it turns out to be painful or terrifying.

My one and only experience with dramamine apparently caused me to visually hallucinate whole objects that werent there, though I was blacked out for the whole night so this is all third person from what my family and friends told me I did the next day. But it involved a lot of trying to pick stuff off the ground and wall that weren't there as I mumbled "bugs... snakes... bugs..." my little bro who took care of me most of the night, said I wasn't scared at all by these bugs or snakes I was after, and was oddly easily entertained by hello kitty on VHS . At one point he said I walked into the kitchen and picked up our biggest knife from its rack on the counter and started staring at the blade. Thankfully though he said (after temporarily freaking out), that when he asked me what I was doing with the knife, I just laughed and shrugged my shoulders all dumb like and dropped it on the counter. But just think what might have happened had he not been there (experienced at handling my crazy ass). Thank the highly improbable laws of the universe that my friend who brought me home was kinda straight up with my mom about what I had done. Told her what it was and about erowid where she looked it up, giving her enough confidence that I could sleep it off and didn't need an emergency room (she said I kept telling her it was just weed). They said I talked to my feet alot that night too, but after getting landblasted by my parents about how crazy I appeared doing this in the bathtub with my clothes on, I discovered that I had somehow managed to sharpie a giant smiley face there, so it wasn't a hallucination I guess. Ok so that one part was kinda funny really but then I found out too that I pulled the tarp off the ex cheif of polices motor cycle and tried to turn it on and ride it. Said he tried to get me off but I fought him like a 2 year old, eventually getting me off by hitting me with the shoes he was originally trying to put on my feet. That, he says, was followed by me fighting him for the tarp as he tried to put it back on and get me away from there. And what was the experience worth? I dunno, didn't remember anything :p I can't believe how extraordinarily lucky it is that I didn't kill myself or end up in jail. The latter happened to another friend of mine who ran his truck into a fountain on private property, and then caught extra charges for fucking with the police computers while left unattended in booking. What was he doing? Trying to play a game that wasn't there >.>

I've seen someone who appeared to be visually hallucinating on angel trumpets. He kept trying to talk to people who weren't there and kept trying to wake his mom up insisting they were late leaving for vacation. Interestingly too he kept freaking out thinking we were blaring a radio when we didnt even have it on, and kept turning it on in an attempt to turn it off o_O . This led to a dramatic episode with his mom which netted him in a ycp (boot camp) He too didn't really remember anything from the night before.

I guess all in all my biggest recommendation is that you continue your research with safety in mind, as finding out the hard way can be a terrible game to play. And I suggest again too for the sake of your own well being, be very very careful not to assume qualities or experiences of psychedelics. It is a worthwhile endeavor to read as many experiences as you can before trying something, just be very careful not to pay the most attention to the ones that just sound "good" to you, if that makes any sense... if you go reading into it trying to justify it to yourself to take it, you will find it very easily, but the experience is always going to be different than what your brain thinks it will be like by reading about it.

If you want really good hallucinations from psychedelic type drugs without going down the path of a hardcore dissociative trip i find using nitrous oxide while on LSD or mushrooms can provide you with the type of trip you are looking for. I have personally had many experiences of hallucinating things that are not there doing this combo!

Yeah i realise that, what i was getting at more so was that using nitrous oxide is not exactly the same as taking ketamine or DXM and going on a full dissociative trip....

Personally, I find that LSD can provide some really great insight into how our minds work and we see ourselves and our world around us for what it truly is. However, if you're looking for shit that will make you hallucinate actual objects, definitely try DMT. That is pretty much what you get when you try that stuff. But if you haven't tried Lucy, then definitely try that. It's truly a spiritual experience and is extremely eye opening.
