Learning guitar on a non-amplified strat while listening to these guys is painful.

Now I'm also trying to find a 4-string tenor banjo, so I can tune it as a violin/mandolin, which i can play.

 

We have a radio station here that plays only Country Legends. Cash, Cline, George Jones, Haggard, Hank Jr. and Sr. My dad is big into all that music. I just got into it, I like most music, but the country legends just make me feel home again.

 

Oh wow you guys are bringing back some good ass memories of my Grandma. I miss that lady sooooo much I almost cry every time I think of her. She was the glue that held the family together and when she passed away the entire family just drifted. My best memories are of her cleaning the house to Patsy Cline and smoking a joint.

I think celtic punk/general folk punk is fair game for this thread. My logic being that they're acoustic, and if you think about it, folk IS the original punk... Same stuff, more talent, hundreds of years before the ramones. (I like them too, but not in this thread)
