Ok since you are telling ppl to leave this forum becuz of certain views you don't agree with.if you get down & dirty which isn't hate mind you its a metaphor.all ppl should get down & Dirty evry once in awhile.it kinda gives one clear idea of themselves.instead of fantasy.there are no absolutes when it comes to being a hippie.not all stink which @ some point was a common perception of hippies @ onetime.hippies never bathe.I guess nowadays that expression is rarely used.not all hippies were born in the 50,s.not all hippies are constantly against guns.not all hippies are vegetarians.not all smoke pot constantly.not all hippies turn the other cheek.not all wear tye dye all the time.not all hippies are illiterate. I get from the dropout as in tune in turn on drop out.some hippies may even drive hummers as far as I know.this is a free speech forum more than anything else.which means a diversity of viewpoints.even your viewpoints are welcome.free expression is probly the highest aspiration of a hippie.

One of the disastrousthings to come outa hippiedumb & I say this out a love for hippies as I am one thank you very much.being a hippie really in some ways didn't prepare me a whole lot for life.as I took the term don't get a job too literally.one of my shortcmnings actually cuz being a hippe duhznt look too good on a resume.so back to the disastrous thing.too many ppl myself took the term drop out too literally.& turn on.so when u combine those two things u get drugs & illiteracy.which kinda makes it difficult to tune in.what does one tune in to?the pot goddess?yes believe it or not some ppl actually believe in a pot goddess.now I guees if that makes one happy then fine.the harm comes when this belief clashes with reality.as in not taking proper care of a child or pet.perhaps even the belief that blowing pot smoke in eithers face is proper.there have actually been threads meaning getting animals high which I guess some ppl think is cute and or funny.& its way beyond some ppl to blow the smoke in an animals ear rather than nose.

kinulpture: no need to get insulted at my words. all i'm trying to say check your attitude. i meant no harm. it's just that, as a hippie, i learned to try, whenever possible to respond positively to as many situations as possible. also, i am not an absolutist--i welcome any-and-everyone to state their views. it's just that i'm not really fond of negativity. i don't deny its exsistence. i'm merely stating that we need to be careful as it is an unhealthy emotion. i apologize if what i said offended you. it was not my intention. thanks for the words, paisley skye.:hippy:
