Anyone got any ideas, I've been having issues with my right knee for ages now, saw doctor, he sent me to physio, did all the exercises, started sports (football, tennis, badminton etc.) again but it re-occurs and even after a month lay-off I can't shake it off. Now it's started aching going down steps and I'm sick of it - tried ice, anti-inflammatories, knee brace...

I'm now thinking another 3-4 weeks rest..

    would osteopathy help?

I used to have knee problems, but they went away when I took a season off of soccer and lifted weights instead. I began playing soccer again and the pain did not come back (I continued lifting). Just my experience...

thanx for the repl- you're the first! I'm a bit older 39 so healing takes longer but as you say I'm taking maybe 6 weeks to 2 months break, if the pain goes great if not I'll have an MRI scan...

what dosn't help is that playing badminton & tennis too which are also hard on the knees..
