I looked it up and think it said it was Morphine Sulfate ER. What exactly is morphine sulfate? They are 30mg capsules. When I told doc I was having some pain at night and trouble sleeping he wrote a script for them and said to take 1 at night before going to bed. They don't do jack. Nothing for any pain nor do they help me sleep. In fact I have stopped filling the script because it's a $45 copay & they're doing nothing. Then I got to thinking, I've never tried taking more than one but maybe I could take a couple & at least get a little buzz once in while. It's only 30 pills but I figured if I can get a buzz off of a couple then that's like what $3 a buzz. That doesn't sound to bad to me. Any recommendations? My high tolerance to fentanyl wouldn't have any effect on me taking morphine would it? I can take a couple 7.5mg perc's or a 10mg hydro and get a decent buzz off of them. I thought that 30mg would have done something. Thanks. I know you guys will have me fixed up in no time. Maybe even be high enough to hunt ducks with a rake.
then only experience i had with morphine sulfate was a few 15s my dad gave me when he had cancer, he didnt mess with opiates, at all, he wouldnt give out his percs, but would give up the morphine......of course my uncle was there to suck them all up, this was just before i had my injury and didnt fuck with pills either, i took one or two of them, they didnt feel like percs so i sold them.......now a days, i try not to take anything other than prescribed so i dont have to worry about piss tests and all that..... BUT any opiate ur prescribed i think is worth getting, even if a rainy comes along, or ur stash of loli's dwindles down, u got something to shake the w/d's.....is there a generic for them, the generic shouldnt have a 45 copay on it.....
If you have a HIGH tolerance to FENTANYL, Morphine Sulfate will not even phase you unless you took like 200+mg of it. All opioid agonists have a cross-tolerance to each other. Fentanyl is the strongest readily prescribed opioid, and Morphine (orally) is one of the weakest readily prescribed opioids. So don't expect anything exciting from M.S. And, also, don't take 200mg of it just because I used that in my example. I don't know the ins-and-outs of your body's metabolism, so just don't be stupid.

Haha. You caught me oxy420! I admit, I didn't read the whole thing as I have trouble reading really long paragraphs on computer screens. Sounds weird to me too. OP: What the heck are you actually taking?! If you get a decent buzz from 10mg of Hydrocodone, even the weakest preparation of Fentanyl (say one 200mg Actiq) would be equivalent to 20-30mg of Hydrocodone!!
Well considering the fact that Fentanyl is 1000x stronger than morphine, it shouldn't do anything for you nor should hydrocodone. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt hydrocodone nearly equal the strength of Oral Morphine? When I was taking 250+mg of oxy, the safest maximum dosage of Hydrocodone did absolutely nothing. I would get more pain relief from ibuprofen.
Let me clarify that Oxy. I guess I shouldn't have used the word decent (or maybe I shouldn't be posting stuff @ 3:00 am when I'm feeling real good) what I meant was I can take a couple perc's or hydro's and I can tell I took them. It's not overwhelming (or decent) by any means but I can feel it. And the point I was trying to make was beings I can feel them I thought the 30mg of MS would have at least made me feel it as well. Does that make any better sense to you. Nowadays I sometimes have trouble saying what I'm thinking. It's like I can't find the words that match my thoughts. My wife says I'm going crazy cause all the meds but what does she know. I just got back from the oral surgeon for a consult to get these broken teeth cut out and he give me a script for 40 5mg perc's so this weekend I'm gonna find out if I still can get a "decent" buzz. Before I started this fentanyl perc's always were my opiate of choice. They always gave me more of a pleasant just all around happy feeling. We'll see if I can still get to that happy place or not. Going camping this weekend so a nice relaxing atmosphere may help me achieve that. I hope you guys can decipher my ramblings & understand what I was trying to say. Thanks Guys. And maybe it's all in my head. Perhaps I'm just feeling good on the fentanyl and think that the perc's are doing something when actually they're not. Idk.

OK, first, to the OP. Only SNORT MS contin/Avinza. Make sure its not called Embeda. It should crush up into a powder (Not little beads) If your tolerance dictates getting a buzz off of some percs. then, snorting 60-100mg MS contin will get you stoned nicely. If I take a few percs and hydrocodone you know what happens to me? I DETOX thats how high my tolerance is. Morphine Sulfate Bioavilability orally =about 10%, nasally = about 40-50% IV/IM/SC = 100% End of story
Magda what kind of MS do you use thats 40-50% up the nose. Only way youll get those numbers is to PLUG it!
Well, BFed I am speaking from experience, so, the numbers may not be exact; but, the feeling is undeniable. I personally love the morphine high btw.
So do I, and opiates affect people in different ways, but its common knowledge that unless your doing MS via IV, the best ROA is plugging by a supposedly 20-30% better than Intranasal or oral. You must be a lucky guy to get that much out of snorting, cause honestly, id much rather put it up the nose than you know where, but i just couldnt get it to work!!
