I was wondering if the effects LSD has as a vasroconstrictor lasts longer than the actual trip does. I think that this is what causes me not to be able to sleep even 4 or more hours after the 'trip' part has ended. I notice I am not able to lay on my side as it restricts blood flow to my arm that is being layed on and the leg that is being layed on. This is very noticeable to me during and after the trip. I dosed at 6 in the morning on tuesday and still couldn't sleep at midnight.

i thought laying on your arm just always cut off your bloodflow. lol. i hate it when i wake up and i can't feel my arm...

maybe you just notice it more because you have a heightened perception.

No, the vaso-constricting properties of LSD just aren't that pronounced to account for what you described. It is more noticable to you because everything is more noticeable when under the influence of LSD, it really is that simple.
If it's a problem that really bothers you, take a Valium, or drink a beer or two and sleep in another position.
