Ketamine is occasionaly used in hospitals for certain procedures where other anesthetics are not working properly or would cause a problem of some kind. The use of ketamine on humans is still limited in the hospitals to very rare use.

PCP is an NMDA antagonist AND a Dopamine Type II receptor agonist. BOTH, yes BOTH of these receptor actions have been implicated in literally hundreds of academic articles as being responsible for schizophrenia and psychosis in humans.

It is kind of like a double-blow. The NMDA antagonism by itself isn't so bad. I even HAVE Schizoaffective Disorder and take a mild NMDA antagonist daily without any mal-effect, BUT D-II agonists are the classical, prototypical agents that mimic schizophrenia. I have taken a D-II PARTIAL agonist before and it sent me into the worst manic psychosis I have ever experienced (kind of like the shit you hear that people do on PCP, hm....)

Simply put, if you seek dissociation, go with Ketamine (hell even Dextromethorphan is better). Screwing around with the D-II receptor is probably the closest thing to pharmacologically 'playing with fire' as there is!

WOW so this is totally out of the blue. I got linked to these forums from another one that I frequent, and it seemed to be mostly populated by middle school kids, and all the older ones joined around that time in their life. So I see multiple posts by "teh tripster" and I have made it my quest to unravel his web of deception. Partially for the shame factor but mostly because this kid needs some help, and short of being an internet superhero and calling his parents I'll hope this talks some sense into him. On top of it, he's actually endangering others.

BRO, JESUS CHRIST. I'm willing to bet you are about 13-14. You are in the middle of vermont, you are not social so find the hip forums. You see them talking about drugs, and since you associate drugs with being cool, you make posts about all the crazy drugs you do. Then you start narrowing down what could possibly get you high when you have no connections. Like when you're a middle schooler. We have all been there. So, you find a couple things that you can buy: DXM. People talk about how they have crazy trips at 600mgs. FUCK IT, you say! I'm going to be known as some ultra hetty drug user. "I take 1500mgs" you frequently post. Now, here's the thing. Any good drugs guide would tell you that at around 1000mgs you'll hit a "sigma level" and that is not desirable nor pleasant. Above that you are very likely to wind up in a hospital. SO - when bro here is telling people "down the whole bottle lol i do this shit all the time i luv getting tripped" he is endangering the lives of other (mostly) young kids who believe everyone on the internet. Once again, I have been there, I remember what it was like.

There are other posts in forums about dramamine. Oh shit didn't buy dramamine bought diphenhydramine instead. Asks how much he should take. Ignores that, says he took 1000mgs. A dose that large would probably make you pass out in 40 minutes and drop dead right then. Nope, he's posting the next morning about how he had some cool visuals but passed out.

Other posts about nutmeg. Asks in one thread, "will it work if i stick it up my butt." Comical. Posts about drinking moldy juice for alcohol content. Then somehow expects people to believe him when he says he is picking up a 30 pack of beer for the 4th. Talking about drinking 15 beers. BRO. I've been at college parties and if people are 15 beers deep and not PO'd and getting written on, I am in absolute shock. Clearly you have some misunderstandings about general levels of tolerance for various substances.

Then posts about "finding" some oxy 80's and then magically "finding" two types of benzos.

That's about all I can recall. Anyways. I am an anon, you have no reason to believe me, but I remember what it's like to be young, curious, and have no contacts. Your parents liquor cabinet is the target of many late night journeys. You start developing problems early but you continue drinking in high school. It starts getting heavy. Then you'll find something else that strikes your fancy. For me it was opiates. And then if you're lucky, your friends will stop that shit and you'll go into a drug recovery program.

So here's what I'm trying to tell you. It's okay if you're not a social butterfly and don't have a ton of friends. You will make more. You probably don't have many hobbies besides video games. I've been to vermont before, get a fucking bike and go tear shit up. You all like ice hockey up there. My favorite band is from vermont you probably have a good music scene somewhere up there. Thinking that drugs are so fucking awesome and then lying about doing them on an internet forum will just create a vacum in your life.

All the stories and negative crap about PCP is stupid. you can do just as crazy shit on shrooms or acid also.

pcp will get you fucked up. it is usually found in cities in ghetto area's. I'd like to try it myself but I do not go searching for it. a while back I had a chance to get some ketamine but had no money and once I got money the connect had no more.

PCP made me insane for about 10 hours. I contemplated suicide. It was uncomfortable and.............. my hearing was extremely distorted.

I like drugs. a lot. PCP is not a drug I like.

 

i smoked pcp with pot one time, not knowing the green was laced. i thought my roomates cat was wanting to kill me.....i'd try it again, only if i were in the right state of mind, and i had some valium on hand

Seriously people, this drug IS as bad as the press makes it sound. Sure, you MAY be able to take low doses of it w/o any issues, but most people react terribly to the shit. If you want a dissociative, go for Ketamine. No D-2 agonism with that drug.
