I see, but that's not what i meant. I'm merely implying that if one is able to eat a cow then I'm sure they have no moral quibbles about eating a plant and that the starving kid in Africa wouldn't be talking at all but rather trying to get something on his dinner plate. When one is in need of food it's a bit hard to be choicy.
I'm not sure of that. My mom used to grow pothos in the house back in the 70's. She treated them like babies. Always talking to them when she did stuff to them like stringing them up so they would grow around the top of the walls. Cleaning their leaves and singing while she did it. They grew like mad! After a short time they were branched out everywhere, like a jungle. I remember her saying that they knew she loved them. I tried to get the same results as her when I first moved out and she gave me one. It lived and grew, but not like hers! I've seen many people with pothos in their house, but NONE as huge as my moms (leaf size included). She wasn't using any secret grow stuff either.
OK. I would do the same. But still, starving children wasn't what I was referring to... so it did seem a rather odd reply to me.
As others have said, gorillas are not vegans... But, there are many primates who are, and though humans are not ones of them...we should be... I definitely thing going vegan was the best choice I ever made! I have so much energy! (sometimes too much, so I just eat mushrooms...ahh, good ol' tamasic foods)
Ok people. MONKEY = has a tail APE = does not have a tail. Biiig difference between monkey, and an ape. Infact, we technically are apes, therefor we possess ape-like qualities. And no, most apes technically eat insects of sorts, and even other apes! Yes, there are chimpanzees who will kill and eat each other, differing war parties of chimpanzees that is.
