Did we not recently get on our news feed word from Skip of a statement calling for a reduction on the war on drugs worldwide. Because it is an utter FAILURE and waste of time? Not that governments need to listen to it. Oh well, why do whats in the best interest of the people right?

while this person is freaking out and probably will only end up having a good time/being healed of whatever it is in the end and definitely not be harmed,

weed is good... but coke kind of sucks drugs can be messed up especially if people are hurt or exploited in the process of making them/getting them to people... i think the drug war should include tobacco and anti psychotic drugs and companies who make harmful products for perscription and doctors who don't explain fully the side effects, but i don't think it should be called drug war either, they should just say specifically what they are doing, and they should use all the money they save on jails for being reasonable about the medicine which its really always been known that marijuana, cannabis sativa/indica, and put it into getting medical marijuana to work in a normal way, and getting herbs perscribed by doctors in general work in a normal way (i.e. you can get them in a pharmacy (another word for apothecary) like anything else) everywhere, its not really something seperate from any other kind of medicine, why don't non alternative doctors ever prescribe herbs, even when they can sometimes have a better result and be more safe? the reinclusion of fully organic products, including but not limited to cannabis in official medicine is one of the healthiest things possible, and one of the key ways we can become a more wholistic and just a more intelligent society and more environmentally conscious at the same time, more rooted in the Earth

Not sure about the drug war in Canada or the prison industrial complex in Canada.But the US in in unstable growth with the drug war that is also part of the prison industrial complex .That I see parallel to the Roman Empire before every thing came crashing down.

Put it this way the US is swimming in debt.And the jails and prisons are exploding with inmates that people are sleeping on the floor or in gym like room with bunk beds that is how bad it is.

I think Spaced_Out is being sarcastic. As Hillary herself has alluded to in the past, the drug war can only succeed if there is a massive reduction in consumption. We all know that is not going to happen. I have to wonder if the government actually wants that because so many jobs would become completely unnecessary.
