Have you been eating somewhere then seen something that has put you off coming back ........... Like the staff doing something that puts you off returning then think omg what am i doing here........yuck...............:ack2: If you can recall what was the most disgusting thing you have seen ??
I didnt get it.. I always use the restroom in a restaurant before I order anything. If the bathrooms are filthy. I can imagine what the cook has put on the food...
yes.. but i knew what i was getting into... but then i was sure when i heard the cook say "veggie burger? whats that? hahahahahaha" iggy: ain't been back since... :leaving:
I used to work at a place that made weiners/kielbossa/polish sausage ...along with many other types of lunchmeats etc I cant eat stuff with their establishment number on it anymore ...(in canada every meat product has an establishment number stamped on the packaging to identify the production source regardless of branding)
I don't eat out at all. I hate waiting for service, i don't trust how people handle food, and everything is fucking expensive. Cooking yourself always tastes better, is healthier, and the ladies love it when a man knows how to cook for them.
I agree with Orison, it is a rule of thumb that the bathrooms usually show the overall cleanliness of a place. I work at a place where people watch their food being made, they love it.
the Op left out a sentence or something when I first replied.. I didnt mean to derail or change intent of thread.. but I dont eat out much.. now that I have a hot dog at home..
I worked at a chinese place once and we were lucky we seen that roach fall into the takeout bag before it went out for delivery roach infested suspended ceilings :ack2:
Well once I was eating at a restaurant when I dropped a piece of food on the floor. The waiter came over, picked up the piece of food and put it back on my plate thatI was still eating from! Needless to say, I never went there again.
I was a waiter at a fancy 5 diamond restaurant and we were busy as a motherfucker. I had a full tray of food and went into the back to grab ketchup. The top bun from one of the burgers fell face first on the floor. I picked it up let some water run over it to give it a little shine and sent it out. Everyone was running and i was not about to wait. The costumer thanked me for the service and left with a happy full stomach.
Yeah food situations can be really gross at some points...I seen the way chicken tenders are handled here in nyc and it turned me off restaurants..Iam not saying i wouldnt eat, iam just saying holy cow. lol
Several years ago I had to deliver a piece of equipment to the kitchen of the ESPN Zone in Baltimore right at closing time. The experience just about put me off eating in all restaurants for life. The entire floor looked like Mr Creosote from The Meaning of Life exploded back there. And it smelled like it too. uke:
well i tend to eat out a lot, especially buffets. once at golden corrall i watched the a server sneeze then grab rolls with her hands and put the rolls in the bucket thing.... their food sucks anyways
Well, last time I went to Golden Corral the tray they gave us had a chunk of solidified pecan pie on it, I was so grossed out that I barely could eat my $10 worth. Fucking ridiculous expensive and it was just so...dirty and gross.
