Diet to rid me o' THC?

    Can any of you guys help me come up with a good diet to use in order to help rid my body of thc?

    I was reading that and it says vegetables, not much fat/sugar. I've heard maybe fiber is good too, and wouldn't fruits be an alright sugar to consume? (Not too much however?) I work at a job where I walk a decent amount at.. If we have to do this one different task, its just walking for 2 hours which equates to about 2 miles. Theres minor physical activity, but all in all, I bet I get a decent amount of exercise in there, not too much. They turn the a/c off, so its hot as shit. But we also get 3, 10 minute breaks, so small meals works well.

    I'm just having trouble thinking of a good list of food ya know? Drawing blanks.

    how about a lifestyle that doesn't involve marijuana? that usually works to get it out of your system

    You just gotta drink a lot and work out a lot.. it doesn't really matter what you eat, unless you eat shit that makes you obviously fat(ter) or gail weight because THC is fat soluable.. or so I thought

    It'll take months to naturally rid your body of thc. I heard it stays in your hair for up to two years. Dnt knw how much truth is in that though.

    Eat a diet high in fiber that will make your crap more. The majority of THC metabolites are excreted through your feces rather than urine. They test urine because it's easier.

    Yes the metabolites are lipid (fat) soluble and do bind to fat cells. On average it takes about 3-6 weeks before it stops showing in a urine test.
    A lot also depends on your own metabolism and how often/how much you smoke. Heavy smokers can often excrete it faster than occasional smokers because their systems are used to processing it, or so I've read.

    Any drug metabolites get deposited in your hair and stay there forever. I believe it works out to about 1"= 6 months history. If you are concerned about testing, almost nobody but government and AAA (automobile club)do hair tests because they are very expensive. They are also accurate about past drug usage, but highly inaccurate about actual current usage. In other words a hair follicle test will reveal if you have done drugs within the last 6 months to a year, but cannot determine if you did any drugs within the last few weeks. That is another reason they aren't used very often.

    If you are concerned about a hair test, shave your entire body. They can use hair from any part, so if you just shave your head, they'll pluck some pubes.

    Bottom line, exercise and eat a high fiber diet and stop smoking if you are concerned about being tested. Following that advice it should only take a few weeks for a light smoker to be clean.

    and if that dont work you can always hung upside down and slit your throat.. can't find thc in your blood if you dont have any

    actually it can take up to 90 days. Some people smoke everyday all day for years so once they actually quit it takes them a very long time to get it out of their system.

    why are you ridding your body of THC Travis34?????

    also walking around only 2 miles or whatever at work is nothing. if you want to get rid of THC faster then you got to do a lot more than that.

    I've got a drug test coming up in a month, I can take it from Aug 1st thru the 15th. It's for school, so that hospitals allow me to work clinicals.

    I'd say I smoked everyday for... atleast like 7 months. Then it's slowly tapered off since May. I know 2 miles of walking isnt enough lol, but I was just giving that as an example of some slight activity I do do.

    You might be able to do it in a month. Just cut out the pot for the month, don't eat too much fatty stuff, drink LOADS of water, and keep active. Not everyone's metabolism is the same, some people could get clean in two weeks of quitting. Last time I quit, it was probably about 3 weeks before I probably could've passed a drug test. Prior to that, I'd say I was probably smoking pretty habitually for about a year. Some people may take quite literally months. I have a friend who smoked all day every day for like...8 years and it took him months to clean out when he took a break. It's different for everybody, but I'd be pretty optimistic about a month.

    I've also read that Niacin works really well in conjunction with a decent diet to detox your system. I know for sure you can get it at Wal-Mart over the counter, so I imagine you can get it pretty much anywhere OTC. Make sure you get the non-flushing kind, apparently the other stuff will set you on fire, lol.

    So my advice to you would be spend this month getting in shape, then it won't be just about passing the test. You'll probably pass it, so just focus on taking a break from smoking, eating better, and getting more active.

    do you have a car Op?.. Get some juices like "cranberry" make sure they are nice and cold.

    Get in your car, roll up the windows and turn the heat on. you might want to get a towel on the seat, your ass is going to be sweating.. drive and sweat that shit out of you.. after a while in the sun, you will not even need the heat on.. Stop and take some walk around breaks.. :2thumbsup:

    Why does everybody keep telling this guy to drink tons of liquids and exercise his ass off?
    Exercising may help a little by speeding up his metabolism and burning a few extra fat cells, but not as much as you think.

    As I said before, most THC metabolites are excreted through feces, not urine. Drinking lots of liquids and cranberry juice helps the day of the actual piss test, maybe. If they determine that your urine is too dilute because you are attempting to flush your system it raises suspicions and will be considered a fail or at least inconclusive and subject to retesting. (I know from experience :( )
    Sweating is not burning fat cells, it's just cooling your body down and flushing excess water, and THC metabolites are not excreted through sweat in great enough quantities to really make any difference.

    The best course of action given the amount of time you have is;
    1) Stop smoking weed (duh)
    2) Eat a diet high in fiber to increase the amount of bowel movements you have in a day.
    3) To increase your metabolism, exercise a little more and eat 6 small meals a day instead of 2-3 big ones.

    When your system gets a large meal it operates under the assumption that food is NOT plentiful so it will store more fat from any meal. If your body gets used to numerous small meals each day, it begins to operate under the premise that food is plentiful and therefore it is not necessary to store up fat, thereby increasing your metabolism and flushing more excess fat from your system.
    Some of the more successful diet regimes use that principle to facilitate weight loss.

    Everything I stated is based on real life medical facts, not urban myth or conjecture.

    Did I say that? I don't think so, just that it's not the ONLY or best way to flush your system of THC.

    Just exercise and sweating alone will of course flush THC out of ones system, so will sitting on your ass in front of the TV, it just takes longer.

    The OP wanted advice on DIET and the BEST and FASTEST way to flush THC out of his system. That is the question I answered.

    Damn, sorry if I stepped on anyone's virtual toes.
