That would depend on what your interests are DS. Where exactly you headed? Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne? Or a local town in one of the states?
That's a fact about that place that I've always loved, it's kinda like opposite land in my little world. I've made it a life goal to spend a large chunk of my life living in the States in the summer and Australia in the winter (their summer). That way I never have to give up my sunny days! And I love the idea of swerving to miss a kangaroo. Here all we have are deer, and they don't even have pockets.
Ah, you're off to the Gold Coast - situated in QLD. Place is full of beaches, so you'll enjoy it. The weather is generally quite mild, but can get very warm sometimes.
Well you said starts with G, and is coastal, so I thought Gold Coast. Geelong. Don't know a great deal about Victoria and towns there, as I've never been.
Well, if you're going to Geelong - that is the city in the state of Victoria. Much like Boston, Massachusetts for example.
Yeah, we have states as well, but not as many as the US. We have 6 states and two territories. New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria are the six states. And the Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory are the two territories. Technically speaking, our government still falls under the constitutional monarchy of the British, but the government itself is a democracy (a hopeless one currently in power might I add).
Geelong is a random place to go... Kangaroo meat is very gamey, i don't really like it It's actually really dangerous, they are stupid and will jump right in front of your car on purpose. they do a lot of damage cos they get pretty big. the only way to get them to move is to honk at them. I've had a few hit the side of my car and it was scary cos they come outta nowhere.
