Giant you have an answer for EVERYTHING! You should start a thread about answering questions or something.

I think it's just to pass on your genes and be a successful species.

To experience. We have plenty of time not to experience when we are dead. Drugs is not a way to experience life. It may appear to be the answer for a time but it'll only bring you down into a hole and you'll end up missing out on what life really is.

Also, don't over think it. Learning to silence those thousand thoughts and appreciating what's in front of you in a good thing.

I thought this was funny :D

I think that if you can be healthy and happy, life is still a mystery, but not knowing the answer is less of a problem

yeah, I think that the perspective that you have is probably coming from depression.

so you could try out some medication or some therapy

you could also try getting a half hour of gentle aerobic exercise everyday

    meditating

eating fresh, cooked whole foods. avoid processed food and chemicals

what makes people happy is actually pretty well known. if you have good health, good relationships, something to do with your time, and have your basic material needs met, you'll probably be happy.

acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine might help too

you might also want to check out the book "Curing Depression Naturally with Chinese Medicine" by Bob Flaws

( bluepoppy.com in the books section)

I hope that you can find a way to be happy, even if life doesn't make any sense

    so far I've got.

    we are born.

    will die.

this experience your in now is life.

    before birth we don't know

    after death we don't know.

seems to be simply feeling comftorable and enjoying it is the best thing to do.

I've felt this way many times before, in what I consider to be my "darkest of days."
Nothing feels worse than feeling useless and hopeless, and it can take some time to over come.
All I know about life is that everything, absolutely 100% of everything is going to end at some point or another, and this goes far beyond anything that I can comprehend. So, as far as living life goes, just strive to be happy, and do the things that make you happy. You are going to die, but so are all the rest of us. Might as well enjoy this state of existence while it lasts, for none of us truly know what lies beyond.
Become the person that you desire to be, let your worries go... go soak up some sun, and remember that the most beautiful things in life are the things that are temporary... because that makes things all the more beautiful.

Life is a journey, not a destination. So if you you don't like where you are, you can get up and change it.
