I was just wondering how many people have actually done it.

I feel like some people here have probably done it several times, has anyone ever actually been caught? What/how much did you bring? International flights, or domestic?

Yeah, I used to think you would have to be insane to bring anything on a plane, but now I'm thinking that while the risk factor might go up a bit, it's not as fraught with danger as everyone seems to think it is.

I had a pipe I bought (and used) in south america that I was very fond of.. I liked it so much that I couldnt bear to leave it, and packed it in my checked luggage. (just in one of the little pockets inside the suitcase) After I checked my luggage and went through security and everything, they told me that my suitcase had been selected for a random search. They led me down (with 3 other people) to the runway area, opened up my suitcase in front of me, (along with the suitcases of the 3 other people) and started going through them. I was freaking the fuck out.. but I played it cool and just casually conversed with the guy that was searching mine. He ended up paying more attention to our conversation than his job, and all he really ended up doing was to move a couple shirts around and check one of the outside pockets before saying, "thats all, thank you" and then let me get on the plane.

I was coming back home from visiting my sister a few years back and I had a gram in my bra. I didn't even set the metal detector off. And I got pulled aside and the guy was like let me get women to pat you down. I was panicking on the inside plus I was high as a kite. Then she asked how many months I was? And I said I'm not pregnant. She didn't say anything after that; I even showed her my stomach. To prove I wasn't pregnant. She didn't feel around my boobs or anything like that, just my crotch and legs. I will never do something so stupid again. I learn my lesion. my sister has done it a couple times to. she sent me a bag of pot threw a carved out candle onetime

You learned your lesson? You were fine. That's the most they would do unless you were being suspicious, (i.e. Being high, that part was stupid) and you got away totally fine. I have yet to hear one story of someone getting caught.

a bomb/ drug dog tried to eat my son, well, jumped up and tried to rip his little backpack off him. we were not carrying anything with us. dont know if he smelled baby lotion or the odd whiff of pot, but it scared the crap out of me, and if hubby (who was holding him at the time) had kneed the dog he would have been arrested for assaulting an officer.

i think that most people dont get caught, however i also think that you choose the risks you take. as for me, i never want to be in another plane. i used to love flying, and as an adult ive developed an serious fear of it.

Wait, you have a fear of flying, or a fear of flying with drugs?

I won't be doing that again. I had baggy jeans on so that might be why they wanted to pat me down. who knows

i've never done it, but i had a friend who would put weed in her bra when she flew. it was before the crackdown on security, though.

You're aware that planes are much safer than cars, right? People tend to fear things that are different, as well as things they don't fully understand.

I'm not saying there isn't a higher risk.. There's always the chance there will be dogs. (assuming you're bringing a drug that smells) but I've flown quite a bit (both nationaly and internationaly) and I've never seen dogs. I'm just saying the risk isn't as high as most people think.

im afraid to drive too. i am capable, but other people are fucking retarded on the road. i have no desire to steer a weapon through populated areas.
i do have to suck it up and get a license though, gotta be able to get my little guy to school. on the plus side though, we dont live in a densely populated community. just gotta watch out for deer and elk and bear.

i think my fear stems from not flying alone the last time i flew. when the people you love the most are sharing the risk its different. i never would have predicted that. and the fear of driving is nearly paralyzing, which i know is stupid. i can look at my fears with logic, ive just been avoiding those risks. you wont catch me skiing either. i see nothing attractive in hurling yourself down a mountain in the snow. its a quirk.

I've carried on over 90% of my outbound domestic flights over the last ten years and I fly about once a month. I have carried pot (anywhere froma couple of grams to an ounce), LSD, MDMA and DMT all without issues. I've had a couple of scares since they put in image sensors. I always get pulled for those so I have adapted my methods. I always carry a personal amount; if I'm bringing work, i send it a different means. I also fly outbound from Colorado which has relatively relaxed laws. If you are caught by security screening you are turned over to a local LEO, which in CO means it isn't a big deal.

I do feel safer not having it on my person but in my belongings these days.
