I have been taking 400mg of Magnesium Glycinate daily for about 3 months and still see no difference in my tolerance to Dexedrine. Is this normal? Is there something else I need to be doing or taking? I have read other posts about people taking as little as 250mg a day and not only has it inhibited tolerance but has reversed tolerance. Is there any other suggestions to help with my tolerance issues?
I personally find Agmatine to be way more effective at lowering stimulant and opioid tolerance. Take 500mg per day (at night preferably) and quickly reap the benefits. I found Mg to only work on my opioid tolerance, whereas Agmatine works on my stimulant and opioid tolerances (but still, the opioid tolerance reduction is more immediate and obvious).
Ok thanks. I will try that instead. Are you talking about Agmatine Sulfate or is there another form that's better?
I only know of the Sulfate version. That is what I take. There are three or four manufacturers of it that are easily found. I think the one I take is called "Serious Nutrition". I am not advertising for them, but simply providing an example of one of the manufacturers in case you cannot find one yourself.
Ok thanks again! Just thought I'd ask cause there were so many different kinds of magnesium (some good, some crap) when I was given that advise. Is that what it is? Thought it was an amino acid. Oh well...guess I've taken worse stuff then that!!!
im sure they found a synthetic way of making it, or do breed the fish for it.. Cant be worse than fish oil.. Yuck, nasty burp up..
