For my 1000th post, I'm going cheeseball on your asses!

Friends of Hip Forums, I thought I'd write a little something to underline my 1000th post here.

A few months ago, I found this forum while looking for info on meditation. I read a few posts here and there, then found out there was also a section on psychedelics. I had a few questions on that subject at the time, so I signed up, thinking I'd ask my questions and never come here again.

It didn't take me long to figure out this place was special. It's not a forum for one specific thing, it's literally a community about anything and everything. Not long after I signed up, I began to see a thought pattern forming. Whenever I had a question/dilemma about literally anything, I started coming here to get the input of a wide variety of people from a wide variety of places with a wide variety of opinions. Shortly after that, I started making some friends, sharing my experiences, giving a hand when I can, and well... Here I am 1000 posts later, with no intention to leave.

I just wanted to say I'm grateful for this forum, and that I think we have something real special here. Friends, strangers, I love you all! :love:

I was here for the games forum in case anyone wants to know...I found this place at a rough time and the humour I found there (mostly Orison,CrummyRummy and Boogaaabah at the time) really helped distract me from real life crap

then I made friends with some and the ride has been downhill ever since

 

I came here a student of life. Trying to get off the grid and run away into the wilderness. I was stupid like most people here. Difference is, I grew a lot and am much wiser while the others still sniff shoe glue and worship bambi.

I came here one summer because I was bored and looking to learn new things.

I did learn a lot from all of the forums...read a lot of the books recommended here, listened to music recommended, a lot of threads in the craft section helped me...this forum was like a school for me for a very long time.

Yeah, I disappeared for a while when different things changed in my life, but always ended up coming back. I'm glad this time that I came back because I actually established some good friendships on here. I definitely love coming here!
