who do you call if your neighbor sets a 5 gallon bucket of used motor oil on your property and then it gets rained in and overflows about a 3 foot radius around the bucket?

    Id say call your landlord...

or if you own the place just clean it up yourself...EPA will go after the landowner not the person who made the mess

oh...and if the neighbour has a flower garden....dig up all the contaminated dirt then swap it with their garden soil to fill your spot up

Oh, and call the EPA, tell them what happened, they can test the soil and the oil in your neighbor's vehicle and pinpoint it to him. It's entirely possible. They aren't just going to see a mess and point fingers, that's not their job. Their job is to investigate and find out exactly what happened and take appropriate actions.

maybe the first step would be to ask the neighbor to clean it up...they might not even know about it

You call a hitman and put a hit out for this douche.

Or just go punch him in the face yourself. My neighbor did something similar with anitfreeze last summer...killed one neighbor's dog and every squirrel in a 5 mile radius. He ended up moving because of the lawsuit over the dog. I wish I coulda shot that bastard for doing it
