U.K.Rainbow/Alternative/Pagan/Musical ?

Hi everyone ,

Am new on site {and enjoying it}
A bit slow going as im still a bit computer stupid .

Can anyone give me any information about U.K Rainbow Groups {cultures} around the U.K South Coast and West Country areas ,as i cant find anything that specific on this site ..

Like ive mentioned on this site in a Forum , im planning on travelling around the South this year in my Van and would like to meet up with others for friendship etc .

With lack of replies ive got , it looks maybe that there arnt any Rainbow Cultures here in the U.K.

 

You need to be careful asking about Rainbow groups in the UK - Rainbows being a junior branch of the Girl Guides. People might get the wrong idea

It might be interesting to question just why this kind of thing seems mainly to be confined to the south.

I mean, surely it could happen anywhere, more or less. So why doesn't it

A good question ? i dont know all the answers ,im a Northener but well traveled in the u.k ,even lived down South as a kid ,so am aware what mite be available , i love Music ,Love anything Bohemian,Culture in general,Folklore, bla bla bla .

It realy seems to start and finish Down South .I know everywere has folklore , but some parts of the South it seems to stare us in the face even iff were not aware of that particilar regional custom . Carnivals for this ,festivals for that ,

Im going out on a limb here remembering myself to not being the cleverest dude around

Maybe it mite have something to do with the industrial revolution when the North lost some of its Pagan identity when the factories come along ?

What do you think ?

Maybe someone else on here could add something to the pot ?
