Just don't smoke. I know it can be hard at first, especially for habitual users. But the fact that you don't like it anymore should make it easier. Imagine if you couldn't smoke, but you knew that the awesome high you wanted was just a toke away.

I had an issue like that a few years ago. I stopped smoking for a few months and started up again and it went away.

I think the current chemistry in your body plays a big part. If you are going through a rough time, weed might make it worse. So, try taking some time off and see if that helps at all

that sounded like a song haha..but anyway, i agree with everyone when it comes to stopping. i smoked some reeeally strong shit once and i couldn't after that for about 2 years because it gave me anxiety for a while. i slowly went back into it then took another break but now im smoking more than ever haha. smoking daily for years straight isn't really for everyone. for some it settles down daily stress and for others only multiplies the feeling. is your daily life stressful at all? just take a month break and maybe even two then try it again if you really love it.

^vaping still gets you high though so changing methods would just be illogical. It would make more sense to either cut down the amount smoked during a sitting or completely cut it out.

Also to OP be aware of how you feel smoking it in certain settings. If certain people make you uncomfortable and others make you relaxed, keep that in my when you choose when and where to get high. Remember just cause it's offered doesn't mean you need to hit it. For me this is extremely important to remember, because when I get high with people I don't know very well/haven't me I get pretty anxious and keep to myself. However when I'm with good friends I'm relieved of that anxiety, and I can enjoy my high better.

That's a shame! I've been a HEAVY daily smokerflr 3 years now (before that quit for exes, and before that it was morerecretional.

Now recently I lost my job and the amount i'm getting from my parents in btwn (and im supposed to take time off for trauma therapy- long story, i could write a book longer than War and Peace on the Sexual Abuse I've endure),is wouldn't even cover my pot let alone my bills and whatnot
AND NOW they want me to be like Dave Chappelle in Half Baked and go to rehab for pot! FUCKING MORONS!! see,, on days like this, WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITHOUT WEED!?? LL

I guess because he didn't mention /why/ it feels like he's going to die changing methods MAY be logical. I remember when I used to smoke, it would irritate my lungs and chest so badly that when I was high I would obsess about dying by suffocation or something because it felt like it was hard to breathe. But when I tried it again by eating it (a small amount, but nevertheless) I didn't have that dying by suffocation feeling and therefore felt a little bit better, but I still don't really like it. Weed just isn't for some people.

I no longer like the way weed makes me feel, so I quit except for rare occassions. It's no big deal.

^ That's how I got. Going from smoking a lot to never smoking is really no big deal once you come to terms and realize 'this isn't right for me, I'm just gonna save myself the money and anxiety'

It all depends on state of mind. Calm will bring calm, stress and worry brings only that
