I saw on THOUGH THE WORM HOLE the other night that a quantum physicist thinks that everything that exists is made up of pixels on gods computer screen, and we're all in gods video game. Who's his opponent? Is that why there are republicans and democrats? Who's got the Buddhists? Maybe there's more than one opponent. Maybe there really is a little blue god that has the Hindu's. Maybe Allah has the Muslims, and Satan has the atheists. It does say in Genesis, that when Adam ate the fruit, God said, "They have become like US." God didn't say, "They have become like ME." Maybe that's why we all have computers. What about those of us that don't want to play?

I don't buy it, but it's equally as logical as any other religious belief. Seems to me like it plays into the whole "matrix" theme, but because there is nothing to base reality against, except for a computer based reality it seems likely that comparisons would be made and our own feeling of "playing god" would catch up to us.

Then again this goddamn giant green diamond won't stop floating above my head.

THOUGH THE WORM HOLE?? or any worm hole..? why not go for expanding time while collapsing space?... better than a wormhole why? because wormholes are unstable and will not stay open.. they could collapse while you in it!!!.. not a safe way is it... lol..to think we still use rockets?? lol... how young we are in the universe.. its like we are babys banging on a drum with a spoon....sweet...

    What wormholes are these?
I see none.. can you point one out to me

A blackhole or 'singularity' . yes there is much evidence for them .. but wormholes?

Science cannot comment on them because they are math/theory. yet math does not mean a thing exists. Math theory is feedback from human imagination.

This thread had 'god' in first sentence.

So now its god and his computer?

    Sigh

These "science" channels have many priorities that have nothing to do with scientific methods. As do many "scientists". What episode was this?

    As an imaginerer.
i had no idea this existed

    Morgan Freeman is perfect narrator

the web of circles.. By the brilliant
Gravitybeach bum.. i can fit in my head... this is what i am born for, maybe im his other. the advocatus diaboli. all science needs one.

I know that this verse. is designed. i know it as i know i am real.

Gravity. has always been the bugbear. It does not fit with math as it is plastic
tau factor.. time slows.[but is is process not law]
    . but gravity..mass increases.. why.

Thank you [thank you] for bringing this series to my attention

    All hope is not gone

"forces are actually caused by the movement of tiny particles".

One day we'll look back on silly statements like this and they'll be just as absurd as ideas like "The earth is flat".

LOL, particles are a joke! Gluons, bosons... and the illusive MORONS! Don't get me wrong. If I was smart enough to convince my government to give me billions of dollars to build a massive Moron Collider I'd do it in a second.

One day they'll figure out there are no particles, only linear and orbital waves of energy. Garret Lisi's Lie group is about the only interesting idea in the entire show, and he happens to be the only atheist featured. Hmmm... do circles look like particles or do they look more like energy orbits?

I Stopped watching when they went on about God existing in our brains. I also know which part of the brain he exists in, it's in our imaginations!

    relax

    If Electrons result in electricity,
    Do Morons result in morality?

    or not

Yes, morons only attract each other into spin networks of pseudo-morality.
